Has it been discussed anywhere about when the next update is going to drop or anything that their working on or might be included in it ?
I play R3E since only this year, and it seems there's an update every month. New features, bug fixes, and new bugs, usually. Last patch is from end of June, so we can expect next one at end of July, if dev team is not in holidays. ^^
I think that's what they're generally aiming for. Tho you never know what might occur that requires them to change plans and adapt schedules. Plus it's the summer vacation season now, so things will be a bit slower anyway. But as far as I'm aware work is continuing and progress is being made. Apart from bug fixes we're testing some neat stuff atm, which I hope will be with you...soon before long.
Apparently, top priority right now is to finish Multiplayer Ranked System, so I would guess this is something that could be in next big update. The one in June had mostly fixes.
We try and update the game at the end of each month. The next one will be the week of the 1st August. It will mostly be about deploying a new car which will be made ready for release. It's not yet the much awaited GT3's, though, they're still being scrutinized by manufacturers and teams ;-). The end of July patch will include also a few fixes and improvements. It's a bit light on the code side because of holiday season, I hope you'll understand. Now today we're going to hotfix again with some multiplayer stability improvements. As you may have noticed we have been suffering from a couple of dedicated server crashes and game freezes which have been fixed on our side and those corrections were confirmed by the beta team last night, so looking good to push it to public today.
What ever happened to tyre compounds? The big O mentioned an imminent release on Twitter weeks ago and diddly squat since. Maybe I should tread carefully, keep a low profile, don't de-spare and get a grip before I burnout!
The big O? who's that? Tire compounds are getting closer. We hit some walls regarding those because of the way tire compounds selection was made in the past, hardcoded for a DTM Experience season. So a little bit more patience for those, the feature isn't being dropped.
I ask George if you would respond to me about joining the beta team and he said to be patient you would, so not sure whats going on? A simple No or yes is all i want to know and i can move on with my life. Thank you.
