So guys, i hope i came to the right place to ask the questions and get more info and feedback about these seats.
I find RR seats convient because they can be always be upgraded down the line (& of course it is cool having one :D)
Back to the point, for those owning one of these seats, what are the pros and cons? Are there major difference between the two?
What is the maximum screen size the monitor bracket can hold?

And feel free to post pictures of your raceroom seats guys. I'm sure i will pretty soon.

(Sorry if this has been asked before; an admin can feel free to merge this thread to the other duplicate one)

    Cheers.

There is one major difference between those two. The Backrest of the RR3055 isn't adjustable but the seat can be moved for- and backward. More things on the positive side are, that a Monitor, Keyboard and shifter-bracket is already included. Those things must be added to the R3033 - the adjustment to move the seat for- and backward, too.

here is my answer from a similar topic a few weeks ago:
I have the RR3033 with strengthening bars and the seat slider.
Its ok, but i am not sure if i would buy it again. In my opinion it is not stiff enough despite the additional strengthening bars.

Also, the set-up was very frustrating, took me apx 8hrs, mostly because of bad screw threads. i won't be able to dissasemble it ever again without completely destroying it :)
And imo the vesa100 mount adds to much space from the wheelbase to the screen (27" single screen)

The additional backrest-adjustability of the RR3033 is not very important imo. I dont use it at all.

    Thanks for the info.
Do you mean that the 27" screen is further away from the wheelbase because of the mount or is it too high up from the wheelbase? Do you mind sharing a photo?
I have single 27" as well untill i jump on the VR ship...

    Thanks.

RaceRoom was nice enough to provide info so i quote them below just in case someone needs it in the furture

"The RR3033 has a GRP racing seats with adjustable back rest and artificial leather cover.
The RR3055 has a foldable sports seat with artificial leather cover"
"The VESA 100 Monitor holder is for installation of monitors with VESA 100/100 and 100/200 standard. At the Multi bracket you can also install monitors with VESA 100/100 and 100/200 standard. Furthermore you have a bracket for game consoles and PC's"

On the picture you can see the distance. The height is fine.
One other point (2nd picture): The vesa100 mount doesnt suit that good to my acer monitor, mainly because the screwholes on the backside of the monitor are in a deeper spot. But i can deal with it.
Hope you understand what i mean, i think it depends from screen to screen.

Thanks. I understand what you mean now.
Can the monitor bracket be adjusted vertically? I mean can you adjust it to be low or high?
I am afraid that when the screen is far away from the wheel like your picture is that it covers big area of the screen.
Hope i am making sense. Let me know.

No, that is no problem, it is adjustable to a certain extend. I have the Screen in the lowest possible Position and the wheel base doesnt bother at all

(wanted to know the PC/console bracket dimensions but even RaceRoom could not provide them so hopefully someome will)

@Mtze_h3h3 1.88 here that's why i am wondering how much space the rig will take. Should i take into consuderation that it takes around 2 meters long and about 1 meter wide?
Like that u have your rig beside the desk :)

you can see length and width of the rig in the picture i attached. I used all my paint-skillz to visualise it :D
I dont think it is 2m long, even if you set the bottom bar and the seat slider to the longest distance possible.

    It is not adjustable.
I think, it's good to have it adjustable, but if it isn't, it is okay, too.

Real racedrivers doesn't have so much things to adjust, too.

I just bought the RR3055, and I don't miss any adjustments at all.

I am only using VR, so right now I have no monitor mounted, but a bracket is on its way, so I don't have to get up and go to my PC when doing adjusments in Crew Chief or Sim Commander.

I had a special bracket made for mounting a buttkicker under the seat - and it works wonders!! :)

For some reason I cannot add pictures from my own site...
