Amongst other updates: "Hardware also gets some attention from the studio, G29 and G920 driver support is improved with the v1.15 update. This improvement will also translate back to Logitech’s older wheels, the G25 and G27. I really like Automobilista......good feel, lots of variety, something a bit different. Works fine with a DFGT.
Reiza Studios 'Automobilista' has amazing AI and I really enjoy loading up a 20 vehicle mixed Multi Class race with a great variety of vehicles to try my luck. I thought I would test the AI out at Cadwell Park, a narrow, tight winding track and if any track was going to test out how good the AI were this would be one of them. Apart from the odd contact, probably due to my bad driving not holding my line and going off track, I would have to say the AI were fantastic which made for very enjoyable close racing and even though I was driving the Formula V10 (just so I could keep up and get myself out of trouble fast...lol)... it was still quite a challenge and even after 4 laps I still did not win the race...lol....highly Recommended. AI 'Strength' set to 120%...AI 'Aggression' set to Max Game Footage recorded with FRAPS and edited in Cyberlink Power Director 14 Ultra.
I am not sure what they have done, either I missed some updates or I just learned to drive in a safer manner, but so far I did a few races in AMS in the Vintage V10 and the URD Corvette and I can say the AI presents no issues for me. I cannot rate if they are good at racing since I usually set them quite low as I am not very fast but the experience is definitely a pleasant one. I would say that racing is very reminiscent of Raceroom before they increased AI aggression.
Patrick G just gave us a great Thruxton And Reiza added a free Formula Dirt series and a free dirt track to play with them ! Graphics are getting better and better, cars feel really good. Karts are close to perfect. Starting to really love AMS...
One of my favorite sims, reiza has done a great job on this title! Game was running great up until the latest patch, now I am experiencing a few issues..... Game + beta stops working upon launch every time, the only way I can get it to launch is by launching the exe. In administration mode within my steam folder. If I copy the exe to my desktop as a shortcut it crashes? Thrust master profile never returns to 900 degrees after exiting the game, which I have to reset before playing other titles. Ever time the pit engineer speaks or a message comes on the screen the game stutters. So I turned it off but I still experience random screen pauses/stutters throughout sessions. No mods installed Verified the cache which always downloads a few missing files Deleted and reinstalled Windows 10 drivers up to date Latest Nvidia drivers Posted in there support thread with no response
I was looking for a solution for your problem in the AMS forum, but I have not found anything. someone said something about disable the replays , but i don`t think that is the solution
Can someone please explain to me how to keep the cars in front of me from disappearing and re-appearing. Kinda destroys the game for me. I'm sure it's a graphics setting, but which one? Fiddled with them all and nothing seems to help.
It's called "Maximum Visible cars" or something like that in the Visual options screen. By the way, the new Adelaide DLC is amazing, it contains both classic and current versions!
I thought I would try out the Corvette from URD on Adelaide with a V8 Multi Class Grid...and it was awesome
BTW I just found out that Stock Car Extreme track mods work in Automobilista too, no need for any conversion. Not sure if any such good mods exist, but just FYI.
I know that you need SCE for certain files to get the Nordschleife working in AMS. And since SCE is on sale till tomorrow, I guess I take that hit.
I tried a Ariel Atom SCE mod,, but that did not work, sadly. There seems to be a workaround though. I also fiddled with a track mod, but there was something wrong with the sky.mas file and I could not get it to work either. Have not tried since, maybe something has changed by now ?
