Imagine how bad my driving in Assetto is when even the 'virtual' mr_belowski insults me after a couple of laps.

Is it possible to use this app in the future with iRacing?

 

Nah. There are some weird (and occasionally changing) policies for iRacing add-on apps that use their APIs. They have strict rules governing what apps can and can't do before it's regarded as cheating. Parts of Crew Chief would probably be OK here - last time I checked anything that doesn't use opponent world positions (spotter, pit entry / exit detection, a couple of other bits) is allowed but this may have changed. To be honest I just can't be arsed with the faff and risk of it suddenly being banned, or having to do extra work to disable features to keep it legal.

I also think the built in iRacing one is really very good.

Hi guys, first to all congratulations for the great work for this program, this is really well done. Unfortunately, though I have a problem when crewchief is started in any race It cause a lag of the video that hangs for about 20 seconds always in the last minute of the races, but when it is not started this program I haven't problem ... what can be the cause?

Hey sorry I couldn't find anything by myself but I forgot how to see which names are already recorded and integrated into the app. It there a list or a folder ?

 

I experienced a little bit strange behaviour in Assetto multiplayer when a new driver joined the session:

looking at the AC mapper code, that behaviour can only be caused when the game thinks there are 2 drivers in the same session with exactly the same name. We'll look into it

 

Mr B - Just a very minor thing I've noticed recently... when I click 'start application' the first time I get silence, then I click 'stop' then click 'start application' again and I hear "radio check". I think it used to say 'radio check' on first click of 'start application'.

Makes no difference and doesn't matter at all... but just thought I'd tell you in case it reflects/affects another change somewhere else.

 

it was a bug, fixed in current beta and will be fixed in next update

 

Sorry for the somewhat OT post, but Crew Chief really made me laugh during tonight's race:
