Do we need more tracks? YES Do we need more cars? YES Adding cars & tracks keeps the game/sim relevant with the times and with a wider group of subscribers. But there has to be a balance. And right now, I doubt there is enough manpower at S3 to bring that balance. First, S3 could you please add this to the Audi Quattro? http://blackflag.jalopnik.com/audis-all-conquering-american-quattro-mooned-the-rest-o-1783947617 From a track perspective......... DTM: PERFECT ADAC GTM: good track selection. LMP1: Needs a couple more tracks (Le Mans being one). LMP2: If you are including the Daytona Prototypes, needs more relevant tracks. FRX-17/FR2: would like more current tracks (COTA, Malaysia......). FRUS: needs more relevant tracks (even if they are only road courses). GT3's: With a field this diverse, I can overlook any tracks that might be missing from their schedule. GTO: Needs more relevant tracks I realize that some of the tracks overlap in the various series, but many tracks are missing to create the full feel of a real life series. From a Car perspective..... ADAC GTM: some cars not present (Lambo,Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, Viper - just add these to GT3 field) LMP1: Needs Peugeot, Mercedes, Porsche, Nissan, Toyota LMP2: Needs Ford Daytona Prototype and BOP Saleen S7 and add to that class (?) GT2: maybe BOP the Cadillac & M3 and add to GT3 class? GTO: Turn it into a multi-year class (like the GT3 field). Add Mercury Cougar XR-7, Oldsmobile Cutlass, Mazda RX-7 DTM 92: Maybe re-name it DTM Classic & add the Alpha155 and a couple more cars?
Your list of car perspective show the ammount of many construction sides. I do not understand, why S3 beginns so much series, and nearly completes the fewest of them.
Just one for me.... Donington! Well sebring would be nice also. Other than that i will see where they come up with.
As an old Sim Racer I want always more: more trackside animations like planes, birds, rotating ferry wheels, and so on...
I think the LMP1 area is over in Le Mans, what a disaster this Year. We better get some proper GTE cars instead.
Sorry about that...thread really has nothing to do with "what content do you want" but obviously easy to decend into such requests quickly, in my case responding to LMP discussion. If we reviewed all threads going back to 2012, would not be surprised if 30% turned into wishlists in the end!
Oops. I realize I had turned this into a partial "wish list" of cars as someone pointed out so I edited this post to reflect the original post title.... Tracks. I play pCars for the GT3 cadillac and some of the tracks. LeMans being one. I play F1 (various years) for car type and the COMPREHENSIVE track selection (for series). Asseto Corsa for the Alpha155 & tracks & mod add-on tracks AMS for CART Extreme Mod & the tracks & mod add-on tracks. (I do really like the ffb of AMS - I do not have a deadspot in my steering in that sim). I think I see a theme developing here. Raceroom now has all of the series cars that I am interested in (DTM, ADAC GTM, GT3, Prototypes, FRX17, Porsche Cup), and the other cars are a bonus (GTO, G5, Classics, GT1 ,GT2). Yes, some cars are missing, but this isn't a car wishlist.... If I could replicate a season with the proper tracks in each respective series, Raceroom would be the only racing game/sim I use. PERIOD.
More tracks? For me only the circuits who are missing in the list below. And when S3 introduce driver-swap to, nothing is standing away for the first replica of an W.E.C. Championship This wil be a dream come true (i think I'm not the only one) Monza Silverstone Spa-Francorchamps Le Mans Nürburgring Mexico Circuit of the Americas Fuji Shanghai Bahrain
In my opinion, the problem is not the circuits, it's the multiplayer system. Raceroom should give you the option of creating an online race by choosing the circuit and the rules one wants, but directly from the game without having to install Raceroom Dedicated Server. It is also necessary that they implement a system that allows to compete against other players based on the skill and the cleaning of each one. I like the idea of divisions, but I think they are poorly implemented. More circuits? Yes, Raceroom needs circuits like Le Mans, Imola, Mugello, Road America, Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen, Interlagos, Barcelona, Gilles Villeneuve, VIR, Sebring ... When those circuits (and others) arrive in Raceroom, I will stop using other simulators. Finally, I think that having a product as good, Sector3 has a horrible marketing system, many people do not even know it exists, pages specialized in video games do not even have analysis of the game (at least in Spain), information that is found many Times are years old ... I'm not a fan of hype, but it's one thing to hype, but maybe Raceroon needs a little bit (just a little). Sorry for my English, it was translated by Google
