Hey guys, I saw in the past few months that people are struggling with the modern DTM cars - not like with just the handling, but the setups as well. I thought about that a little, and maybe if you are interested in it, I'm going to make a video tutorial series of that topic. Please pick an answer from below in the poll section!
If you have some ideas about these videos, feel free to write it down! I already have some ideas, just want to make sure everything almost matches with your expectations.
Explaining what you can change to go faster, when you don't have the feeling of having too much understeer or oversteer? (It's not for DTM, because I don't drive them...). Or the FR X-17 how to setup that car
Well, there are lots of similarities between these two; but these videos will be a tutorial for DTM cars, not for OWs. But, as I mentioned, many things are the same - and I can promise that there will be a video tutorial just about setting up the car, so maybe you can use some parts of it.
I think I have good understanding of the setup in R3E but would love to hear it from your perspective
Hey guys, Maybe I forgot to say that at the moment I'm abroad because of work, and I'll fly home this Friday - so the earliest video will be uploaded next weekend. I'd like to create a tutorial series which can use any beginner user - so here's some sneak-peak how it will look like: - Ep.01 - Getting familiar with DTM: mainly introducing the cars, the rules and the tracks which DTM uses - Ep.02 - Setting-up your car: detailed set-up explanation & examples how I usually set-up my car - Ep.03 - Tips & tricks: some driving tricks which can help you to set faster laptimes - Ep.04 - Ep.11: this will be optional; track presentation videos with a DTM car So please be patient, it will take a lot of time to create these contents.
What I don't like about many, many tutorial vids of any kind you may find at YT is that many ppl, even if they do mean good, they often baffle and baffle and baffle (putting themselves in a shiny light first) before they even get to the point. Be wise and don't bore peers to death plz
Update - 2017.10.12. Sorry folks, my week is super-busy, so I won't be able to upload the first video this week. I really hope I can finish it for next week - and if everything goes well, I will upload the first two episodes. So please be patient, I try to work on it like hell!
Hey guys, I'm really sorry for the absence, but I was super-busy in the past few weeks. Next week I'm going to travel to abroad again, which means the possible earliest date of releasing this video tutorial-series is December. I'm sorry about that, and hope you understand the situation. I try to work hard on the remaining day at home, to be able to release the videos in December. Regards, Adam
Well, it's not something we've payed for, but only your efforts you put in this. So don't worry or hurry. Do it, as you like it.
Yeah I know, but you know, I'm that type of guy who keeps his word - just wanted to say with this, I didn't forget this thing. But thanks for supporting, I really appreciate it!
