Man, a lot of people are really quick to forget that we just had an update barely 2 months ago, and a number of small hotfixes in this time in-between as well. 2 months is already a very short period of time for a rather substantial update to be released, so taking a bit longer to iron out the issues beforehand is to be expected. Ideally a major patch would be released every month to the exact minute, but that just isnt reality. Nothing happened. It was never going to come and never said to come. Only the Indy layout was licensed because that is all that DTM used and this is the only reason we have the track. In my opinion it makes zero sense from a business perspective to pay money to license the full layout, pay someone to model the rest of the track, and then be forced to release it for free because you cannot realistically charge for the rest of the layout since we already have the Indy version. Dont hold your breath here.
I've said all along that the reason Brands Hatch GP hasn't been released is there's no money in it for Raceroom. I understand the lack of financial incentive to do so but it would be a huuuuge gesture of goodwill to release the rest of this track for free.
We got Red Bull Ring National added with the KTM X-bow, so there is always hope I guess. http://game.raceroom.com/store/tracks/all/red-bull-ring-spielberg
Though I am not too much of a fan of Brands Hatch, I would pay a small fee for the full track for sure.
I would put aside my principles and do the same. If they charged 100vRP for the GP layout I believe most users would buy it.
Hey guys, please let the developers do their work, if there's anything to publish, they'll let us know. I prefer to wait two weeks more than getting a half-finished update.
If i remember correctly i payed already full price for Mickey Mouse Layout (did not open my eyes, trusted developers, got kicked in the but, after starting game).
You got what you paid for - Brands Hatch, 1 layout: Indy. Now you want a different track, why should it be free? I wouldn't mind if it was free, but we certainly cannot derive a demand from having bought something very specific.
That's what we all want, a polished update. We just occasionally need to let @J-F Chardon know that we are still here patiently waiting and waiting, and waiting, and waiting... Are we there yet?
