I think "More North American Content" could be very useful for R3E, because the USA is the motorsport nation number one on our earth and there are a lot of sim racers who are looking for an alternative to the us-racing-sim "iRacing". As for me, I would like to see all famous racetracks (ovals and road courses) like Daytona, Milwaukee Mile, Road America, Watkins Glen, … and more great cars from the historic SCCA Trans-Am Series (1969 Ford Boss Mustang, 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, …), old IMSA GTO Series (the early 90s Oldsmobile Cutlass, …), old CART / Champ Car Series (the late 90s beasts) and some entry-level stock cars (ASA Street Stocks) in the R3E store. sources: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_auto_racing_tracks_in_the_United_States http://www.historictransam.com/cars.html http://www.racingsportscars.com/type/photo/Oldsmobile/Cutlass.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1998_CART_season http://www.asa-racing.com/
I think VIR would be a great addition to this game for a few reasons... 1. Its not a commonly modeled track in other sims. 2. It fits the GT car racing scene. Gt2, gt3, etc.... 3. Its a technical, long, and challenging track. 4. Its nearby where i live! (Relatively)
We already have my favorite U.S track Sonoma so as my second choice Watkins Glen I would grab up VIR for sure. But as you said North American lets please consider Mosport
Would be cool and hope to market this game to more people but when I'm online in the evenings there are just not that many people on. That being said I believe that gt3 racing is getting more popular and will continue to grow in the states. Not so sure about some of the other series but when we head to mosport some of the feeder series are sure fun to watch.. we have the frjr and f4 and a rumoured f3 series coming. Not a fan of the Nissan micras (nsu similar). Weathertech have been making some great strides.
road atlanta and barber have amazing altitude variations and give a rollercoaster effect all these have been requested before but it is allways important to stress out this game needs more muricans
I think more American tracks would be great for Raceroom. From my point of view there are many missing and I hope they arrive as soon as possible. This is my list: Road America Sebring VIR Road Atlanta Barber Canadian Tire Watkins Glen Circuit of the Americas Daytona I believe if RaceRoom wants to compete with iRacing they have to get the online ranking system, scheduled races and more tracks. All the above are already in iRacing (and many more). I sincerely believe that if they do that they will gain many more users. For my part RaceRoom already has me won, it's my favorite simulator !! Sorry for english: google. Regards
Realistically, COTA is most likely to be the next U.S. circuit given the Tilke connection. I would be fine with that.
100% right buddy! I am afraid the same thing ... unfortunately COTA is the last "new world" track which I miss in R3E but it's a must-have track for the FR X-17 car fans here like the new Imola or Sepang track. Mhhhh ... as long as the other US tracks will follow immediately afterwards I look forward to COTA.
Sebring and Road Atlanta for the 12 hours and Petite Le Mans factor. VIR and Watkins Glen have great rhythm sections. COTA and Barber have nice elevation differences.
The Glen, lime rock park and road America from US, Mosport(loved racing there in GPL!) and CdGV Montreal from Canada please! PS historic Mexico as well!
I grew up going to Lime Rock, so that would be cool just for that factor. Road America is always a favorite. Mosport and Montreal would be great as you don't see them all that often.
Are there any plans for an update of Indy Road Course? I like the old version, but in addition to having the latest version, it would be really cool. Indy Road Course 2009 - 20013 (Raceroom Version) Indy Road Course 2014 - Today
My christmas wish this year, and 2018, and 2019, and 2020, ... : Sorry guys, but only 4x US-tracks since the beginning of the sim in 2013 is definitely too few! Soon we will have 2018, the 5th birthday of RaceRoom Racing Experience ... something has to happen now.
Just a little overview: Mods / Fan-made tracks are only considered for rFactor 2 because it's the only real Mod-Sim in the entire table.
