The usually Running Gag™ But I am afraid it is almost not very funny anymore for most of your customers... The information policy sometimes is slighty strange
why are you critics still here? these complaints all the time, why? if you don't like the product use another simulation. here are enough people who don't share your opinion and enjoy the product also in the current version. i for my person am sure that it is worth waiting and that there are reasons why this delay has occurred. nobody is interested in annoying us as users
If r3e was broken and needed fixing I could understand the impatience for an update. But it isn't! I just played it and even without these new features raceroom is great! It's great that s3 have committed to continued and regular updates but if it means new features need some more polish I'd rather wait a bit longer. I'm tired off app developers that use updates as a marketing tool and push one out every 2 weeks regardless of what they break because they didn't test it properly. (Yes you Spotify!) As you are S3!
Yes, it is always something here and then all those stupid video clips that have nothing to do with raceroom. Is this a racing game? or an animation site?
Writing software can be like taking two steps forward and one step backward. I would much rather the developers took their time and got the update running smoothly than release it while it may still have bugs.
Sure, but nobody is complaining about the quality, it's how S3 is communicating. I don't talk about the fact that from announcing new content to its release it takes long time. Most of the members here understand that. Nevertheless many people are waiting for the patch for a long time, and JF posted that, what should have come in Oktober will probably come on Nov 14th. Then it was delayed twice again and all the information he gives us is a song called "soon". If some of the S3 officials would have taken the initiative to say: "we have this or that problem and we need some more time, we'll keep you informed", it would be much easier to stay patient and not to get the feeling that they make fun of us, even if your "conscious mind" tells you that fooling us can't be their intention.
This is precisely what I have in my mind but most of them here apparently do not understand it, weird people here
Sometimes you have a plan but there are unknown circumstances you can’t know before but how we say in Germany: Kannst du machen, dann ist es aber kacke...
I think you don't understand what I have written. In english: If you have a date with someone and you won't be there in time because the bus is late, you will send him or her a massage, because otherwise he / she will have the feeling that you're fooling her or something like that.
Exactly that, although, I have zero feeling they are making fun of us, but more like they compromised by trying to add some big changes in the game and is not going really smooth. However the important thing right now is that we still in November, So, fingers cross.
Then again it's really none of our business what the problems causing the delay are, even under the ideal circumstances when they would at least theoretically be at a liberty to tell us, which they very well might not be at all. I absolutely understand you feel like you (we) deserve to know, but we really don't. It got delayed. That's it. There were no promises it will be released on this or that day - the only official source of information about the patch, the newsletter, only mentioned "in November" as to when will the patch come, the rest was just semi-private info shared unofficially on the forums or on Discord - and there are certainly no obligations to share more details on why it happened.
"do not promise something you can not do" happens to much with sector3. That's why a people are dissapointed, i think.
