No traffic Wrong camera position No Bilstein Sticker 2/10 But more seriously - this video clearly shows, that there is something wrong with either top speed differences or draft.
Just awesome! The perfect comparison video @Georg Ortner! Same driven car, same car ahead, same weather conditions / light conditions, … Like I said before: It would be nice if we have one video like that for each R3E race track. The team of @Alex Hummler did a great job with the Nordschleife! Love it! I know I am track nerd, but the video shows how a virtual race track should look like in a racing sim. A 99,9% exactly copy of the reality! correct track routing, correct track width, correct track elevation, correct track curbs with real-life dimensions, coloring and positioning, correct track buildings with real-life dimensions, coloring and positioning, correct track objects like trees, fences or guardrails with real-life dimensions, coloring and positioning, correct track environment / backgrounds without fantasy mountains or fantasy line of trees like you can find at the Bathurst track (love the Himalaya parallel to the start / finish line ), ... Unfortunately it's just the Nordschleifen part of the Nürburgring. RaceRoom needs the laser scanning technology for all new tracks like you can find in iRacing or Assetto Corsa! It's time for deep-reaching changes in the track development department of the Sector3 Studios! Make sim racing great again!
Great comparison. One thing struck me. The angle of the steering wheel in irl footage is always a bit bigger.
Hm, i can‘t compare and agree totally. When i drive cart, which are much stiffer and more shaking than a gt, it isn‘t visually vibrating as in onboard-videos - but i feel it for sure.
absolutely amazing 10/10 up until the 6min mark which yes seems to show that either the mercedes is too fast or the audi is too slow to their respective real life version
The driver of the real car doesn't get these vibrations - it's the camera. The views available in a virtual car can be used for driving - vibrations like this would piss off a lot of gamers.
The comparison has one problem: in real life version they have to lap slower cars. In R3E version they don't. Due to the free tracl ahead the R3E should be able to run quicker.
Georg said in the comments section that he compensated the real life traffic in R3E. So he could have been faster.
