This thread encouraged me to signup so here is a list of my top 10. I think these tracks will really help grow the fan/user base of this sim and they are mostly geared toward sportscar and GT racing as well as fans of endurance racing. So not surprisingly it starts with circuit de la Sarth. I also realized the North American tracks are quite limited and it would help to have more so they are a big part of my list. I left out COTA however. My preference is to circuits with history. 1. Le Mans (circuit de la Sarthe) - Include a layout without the chicanes on the mulsanne straight 2. Sebring 3. Daytona 4. Watkins Glen 5. Road Atlanta 6. Road America 7. Twin Ring Motegi 8. Fuji Speedway 9. Sochi Autodrom 10. Philip Island Admittedly with the FR US cup car it would make sense to add ovals to the game including perhaps the Lausitzring oval layout, Daytona, Motegi and Indy and maybe a small oval to make 5 in total. That should grow the oval racing fan base for raceroom.
im speaking about the main rank, I'm sure that 25% of the onilne distance that Ive done in race07 was in ricardo tormo circuit and here have not any vote... a very popular circuit that nobody liked
Hmm... Typed Circuit de Valence into Google, comes up as Ricardo Tormo. Don't worry, I'm sure there's a few sim racers out there that feel the same. :'3 Edit: Sooo... the main ranking (original post list, first page) hasn't been updated, unless one counts the update on the 7th of December this year.
my top three are Watkins Glen Lime Rock Park Brands Hatch GP and as bonus i trow in Nordschleife backwards like they do it once a year for Rallye Köln-Ahrweiler
I just want to point out that this thread is actually very helpful. Of course not every track can be done, not every advice can be followed, there are good oppurtunities and bad deals. And also only the more dedicated racers have an account here which distorts the data, but I feel like it's a decent benchmark and Imola won't be the last track with a decent ranking that will make its way into the game. The thread with the car wishlist is not so structured. Would someone want to set up a thread in a similar fashion and keep it up to date? I cannot make any promises of course that RaceRoom or Sector3 will do these cars! But it will at least make it easier to figure out what you want.
Updated the list! New year, new circuits no doubt Don't forget it's only top 3 that counts in the list..
Another suggestion for more likes: Lime Rock Park ... a typical classic US racetrack with fast track parts in a beautiful green natural terrain. Just perfect for a lot of GT4 action, among other things.
RaceRoom has become my favorite simulator, since I bought all the content I have not played another simulator again. I think you are taking big steps forward, but there are certain points that you must resolve (I know you are working on many). One of them is the number of circuits, iRacing doubles the number of circuits to Raceroom and has tracks very demanded by users: Le Mans, Sebring, Road America, Donington, etc ... I just hope that this 2018 is the year of the circuits for RaceRoom, until then I will continue enjoying this great simulator. You are awesome Sector3 !! Sorry for the English ... Google
OK, here are my three favourites: 1. Watkins Glen 2. Donington Park 3. Brands Hatch GP And as a special Bonus, as a free Raceroom Test Track: Bilster Berg You know Bilster Berg? A nice track to drive track days with heights, close and wide corners. Should be very funny to drive there in real. http://www.bilster-berg.de/
As far as I know Bilster Berg will be very difficult to get. The guy who did the track for Assetto Corsa had to remove it from the internet because of exclusive rights of Bilster Berg. It's not a real race track it's a test, event track for the automotive industry and teams. But it's fun How about Dubai it's the first race of the year Looking forward to every track that will come in 2018
Yes, but because it's a test track for automotive and teams it's the best solution for a test track in Raceroom. I think, no track is for free for the developers. And no other sim has Bilster Berg, I think. Double Win-Win
