Im not so much into open wheeler, especial the newer Generation F1 is boring for me - but this series is really great!
The Races are awesome, the courses they drive also..........
But with an realistic view - the Indy Cars doesn´t have much Fans here.
In Raceroom theres no Server or if there was one - population with this Cars.
I would like these 2018 gen. Car, but i don´t think this became popular here in Raceroom.

Sure they look good, but we have the Formula US.. And i've never seen a server for them..

There's not really a point to make a new generation car that's so similair to a current pretty niche car; from a business perspective I don't think it'd make that much sense. There's currently not a completed enough tracklist for US open wheelers (but we got Road America comin' yeehaw!)

But, dangit, it does look gooood.

Edit: The Formula US btw is a great car, I highly suggest more people drive it in multiplayer.

great, but a good reworking of p1/p2 and a GrC imho are more important.

why we don't have grC?

I can agree with the P1 and P2! Those classes are so much fun, and with Multiclass somewhere at some point I think we're gonna see them a lot more.

Edit-galore: I forgot to add: P1 cockpits are amazing in VR. The claustrophobia is insane. Such a small cockpit!

1:27 incident.....Scott Dixon after his Crash Interview:
"I'm looking forward to next year here in Indianapolis" .... unbelievable, here with us a security discussion would have flared up again ..... and something like Halo comes out ....

The guys saying "No thanks" are probably the same who scream for new GT3 cars at the same time. :D

I voted "no thanks" indeed, as I am not interested in open wheelers (except for classic ones maybe) and prefer tin-tops (not just GT3).

Don't get why someone disliked that, as this poll is literally asking for opinions :p

I'm curious what you would want to see though? What kind of car(s) next?

I'd rather a focus on more popular content, which is touring cars and GT cars.

What i'd really like to see, would be 1994-2000 BTCC Super Tourers.

I was astonished by the dislike as well - coming out of the cover in such a poll, I expected several disagrees, but no personal dislike, but ok...

What cars next - I am hoping for the (W)TCR series, a mid 90s DTM with Alfa and Opel, the long hinted GT4, or even a small cup car like the Mini (these underpowered things make for some really close and great racing).
Yesterday I drove in AMS with the retro Brazilian Touring cars, looked like a 70s Scirocco, and I had more fun sliding with these things around a tight airfield track, than I ever had darting around a modern track in the FR-US (or FR-X).

When it comes to ultra fast cars, rather than a second FR-US with just some slighty different plastic spoilers (exaggerated of course), I would rather dream of a Group C based around the famous Porsche 956/962.
Others love their ovals and Indycar open wheelers, I like this stuff :)

Yeah I agree with those cars. They're all fun looking!

Could not agree more! I love the NSU TTS for that reason. Too bad I suck at driving it in VR.. So I tend to go for the Cayman nowadays.

I really hope that the Cayman skinpack gets released soon, so it can be raced properly :)

Voted yes, that car is such a step in the right direction when other open wheel racing series just seem determined to create a worse version of sportscar racing.

... nice surprise guys! 59,6 % IndyCar fans (lovers and likers ;)) here ...

The old aerokits of the Dallara DW12 were not very popular ... too much wings and too much "UFO like" look ... that's why I think the "FR US Cup" car is not the best-selling product in the R3E store, but I believe that a new "FR US Cup 18" car version, based on the new IndyCar "Universal Aero Kit", could change this. But some more US-tracks are necessary for a bigger IndyCar line-up in R3E, of course.

Speaking for myself, I can neglect this. I bought the FR-US out of curiosity and as somebody who is not really interested in US racing, I must say I don't see much difference between the two cars. Both are full of plastic and look like wannabe F1 to me. I would not buy a second FR-US 18 car and I doubt that only slightly better looks will make it more attractive for MP servers.
More US tracks? Count me in. A new (fake) Indycar? Make it a puristic car from the 90s and you could count me in as well ;)
