Problem After patch: different failure than 503, total freeze

In the end I decided to redownload R3E and I can finally get to racing with the new update. Not ideal, but it is what it is.

Thats an option if the download takes 30 minutes. With download times in excess of 12 hours (last time I did it it was close to 15 hours I think), that is something you think twice about before doing it.

 

Im getting this screen too. But if I click at the top the background changes.

 

Solution for me is just to press ALT+TAB when the game freezes at "press any key screen"

 

Works...!!!

Tested it three times,. with cold system boots between them. Alt-Tab brought me in to the game reliably every time.

I let somebody else spread the news around this time - burnt child fears the fire... LOL Maybe the internal clock decides on the longevity of this interim solution...

 

Works well for me aswell. Here Logitech G25 wheel. It seems this stuck at loading screen bug is due to the culprit old Logitech profiler.

 

Logitech profiler - don't get me started... Garbage from A to Z.

 

Well Skybird I must thank you for all your help. Helped me full your very nice.
I just discover another thing : just simply launching the profiler soft before launching RRRE you don't need make the ALT+TAB tip. All is working fine here and the main menu appear after hitting any key at the splash screen.

When Profiler is not running before launching RRRE, R3E call Profiler and give a bug at the loading screen. But if the profiler soft is running before launching R3E all the loading process run well without issue. By me at least

 

Thanks, but no thanks needed: I did not find these interim solutions, but other people did - I only spread the word a bit.

 

- Right click on RaceRoom Racing Experience in Steam Library and select Properties.
- Click Set Launch Options.
- First try "-cefNoBlacklist" (without quotation marks).
- If the above doesn't work, try it together with "-cefNoD3D11"

Neither -cefNoBlacklist or -cefNoBlacklist -cefNoD3D11 works for me for the stuck at loading screen. I don't get the white screen bug although. My only turn around solution is to launch the Logitech profiler before launching R3E and then all is running fine.

Hi, the white screen bug is only appearing in the media hub but just after a race.Wen you first start it the screen is normal.
But yesterday after a few races the game freezes.
