    Hey Community!

I have an Accuforce Pro V2 and I have tried to set up in SimCommander 4 and in the sim, but I keep getting oscillations with every car.

Can anyone suggest some settings that I can use for SC4 and for the FFB Settings in the sim?

I really don't know what to do any more to get the oscillations to go away. The wheel keeps turning left and right on straights. FFB feeling is fine, but it's just these oscillations that I need to get rid of.

    PLEASE HELP! TIA!

I'm not so sure it's the game Ffb. In simcommander you can make modifications to control that.
    Check out dynamic oscillation control-moving
Adjust that, mine is around 75%, though I am always moving it around.
Read up on accuforce inertia, accuforce friction, and accuforce fluid dampening. They all have an effect on this.
Disclaimer I have the accuforce v1, though the software is the same...

I just asked Sim Racing 604 from Youtube and he said he had the same issue I had, and he fixed it with in-Game settings. He's going to send me his settings and I'll copy them and see if it works out. Thanks @richlevy2003

If it does, I'd be interested in seeing them also. Look on simexperience site and do a search in the forums, you should find the same threads I did on it also. Good luck:)

I tried his settings and I'm still getting the oscillations. Something isn't right with my wheel base.

    Than give this a try
    Go into the control center
    Hit output mixer tab
    in the effects tab
fold down the game force feedback icon (just click on the on off switch to get it on the on position. All the available options should than pop up
Scroll down to the Dynamic Oscillation Control-moving option. Hit the on switch. Slide the slider up to around 75%, see what that does for you. On my wheel it gets rid of most all the oscillation, though some cars do have more than others.

Give that a try and let me know how it works

I tried The Moving oscillation effect and put it all the way from 100% to 200% and it didn't help. The oscillations were still there. For some Reason on the Audi TT Cup car I dont get the oscillations if i use Foundation FFB as opposed to Game FFB. All other cars give me this weird oscillation in the center.

yea, some cars do give a little oscillation in the center. Sometimes I wish they would just have an independent ffb for each car type, much like the steering and ffb multiplier.
I have been using the ttrs vln, and it gives decent ffb, I can tune it up with the game ffb settings, but that messes with the other classes.
you can set car specific accuforce settings thru the simcommander software, tune it for the car and than game force feedback from that point. It can be a bit frustrating though.

    Hey guys,

Any chance you could share your current best settings for the Accuforce as I am getting literally NO feel from the wheel at all.
Like FFB isn’t even on. I do sometimes get a rumble effect here and there but it’s not how it’s supposed to work at all...
I am having zero fun with this sim because of the wheel settings, please help.

    Thanks.

    Hey doronbh
Sorry to hear your having trouble.
I would highly recommend that you go into Simcommander than set it up to record some laps and auto set some parameters for you. It will give you a decent base to work from. Than it is just a matter of personal tastes how you set up the Feb settings in raceroom.
Give me a couple hours I'm not at home right now, I'll try to set up something for you.

this is my settings in the simcommander software. Keep in mind everyone is different and you might not like the same light feel that I prefer, and that these settings are not universal for all cars. But if you are not getting any feeling in your wheel, this will at least give you something
    Accuforce steering wheel
    smoothing 3%
    intensity 53%
    Effects
    Game force feedback 95%
    Game force feedback smoothing 9.4%
    Accuforce fluid dampening 6.3%
    Accuforce friction 0%
    accuforce inertia 33%
    dynamic oscillation-stationary 25%
    dynamic oscillation-moving 87%
    engine rpm 28%
    Steering feedback foundation 62%

    In raceroom
    inverted forcefeedback off
    force feedback intensity 100%

    Steering force intensity 89%
    force feedback min force 20%
    understeer 80%
    vertical load 30%
    lateral force 17%

I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum from those settings. My settings below for reference:

    SC4:
    Default power level
    Game FFB: 95%
    Game FFB Smoothing: 15%
    Friction: 1.57-1.98% depending upon car
    Everything else off

    In Game:
    force feedback intensity 100%

    Steering force intensity 50%
    force feedback min force 0%
    understeer 50%
    vertical load 50%
    lateral force 50%
    steering rack 0%

    slip effect 20%
    engine vibrations 0%
    kerb vibrations 10%
    shift effect 0%
    collision effect 10%

    Thanks for sharing Mike!
    Do you have an Accuforce?

What would you say made you go with these settings (no effects...)?

    Yes. I have an Accuforce.

I find anything over 1.5% on friction and dampener muddy the ffb in most titles. Most folks turn on steering vibration too but I don’t like it.

I’m R3e you’ll also find the slip ffb to give a wierd oscillation. Try turning that off. I think you may like it.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply.
I’ll give your settings a go soon.

I just hope to not lose some feeling due to the lack of effects.

Also, how do you cope with the straight line oscillation? You don’t have any of the sliders enabled in SC4...

I don't have any inline oscillation, but I also don't pull my hands off the wheel. If I did, it will eventually start to oscillate but i feel like i drive better with my hands on the wheel:D.

Add some road bumps in SC4 if you want more road noise.
