I use a Simucube and in my opinion the FFB in ACC is very good but friction at standstill is very very low.
Adjusting friction in Simucube software doesn't give me the realistic feeling with still standing tyres than raceroom.
Locked up tyres feel absolutely marvelous to me in Raceroom. Both ffbs are good but for me raceroom feels a bit more like the tyres are rubber. In ACC it feels more like either word or very hard and old rubber... imo you just feel "too much" in ACC, like it's flooded with canned effects (not saying this is the case).

In rfactor2 in comparison it depends on the car. LMP cars are much stiffer than GT cars so you feel every bit of the road with them but with GT cars it feels softer and the suspension and tyres dampen more bumps.

Sadly, both stationary friction and wheel lock ups have zero FFB effects for me no matter what I change in the ingame menu or in the controller ini file. Even rFactor 1 gets the job done with the RealFeel plugin. :( I've reported some other FFB issues some time ago but didn't got any reply from the responsible dev yet. Would be awesome if sector3 can do something about it but honestly I lost hope. In rFactor 1 and 2, Automobilista and Assetto Corsa Competizione the FFB is great so it can't be the hardware. Ironically, even GTA 5 got proper FFB with this mod. :D

Not so good second shot, imo.

I am negatively surprised, did not expect something like this from Kunos. But EA is EA, lets see what they make of this. But for tonight, I have enough of it.
    :(

Well, VR works... but very difficult to handle... no keyboard or mouse-support so far. You need to control everything with the wheel and therefore you need to assign the buttons first.

Performance-wise still a bit to do, but with still high settings quite manageable...

Bar the stretched side monitors view, the big Bentley is a joy to drive at Misano.
It feels good and I like it more than the Lambo.
No performance issues since I upgraded my GPU to a GTX 1080 TI...no stuttering either.
Really hope Kunos wil succeed in implementing triple screen support real soon. Can't get used to the actual view, missing apexes and brake points atm....
My new OSW wheel has lots of buttons that I can actually see and use, like IRL...:D

@m.bohlken you can simply navigate with a gamepad in the menu.

@Fanapryde my wheel has 26 inputs but I need most of them.. turn signals, engine mapping, ABS, TC, Brake bias, wipers, light, flashing, rainlight, ignition, engine start, pit limiter, look left and right when playing on monitor, pause.

so no chance to assign buttons for menu navigation :D my PS4 controller and inputmapper are doing a good job on this.

I thought it was awful. Really surprised that it's even possible to implement vr in UE4 without working positional tracking. It looks like using Google Cardboard or something. When you rotate your head the game doesn't compensate for the sideways motion of your eyes so the world moves around. Is it even possible to screw it up like this with UE4?

Very disappointed but not very surprised

yeah - I know... I have the controls on my wheel now. But it is a PC game and it will stay a PC game. A PC has a mouse and if you have it, it would be nice to simply use it. I read that there seems to be a way to get it working in VR, as you can use it without to, but haven't found the solution yet...

Well, at the moment there are simply some flaws in the VR-Implementation. No Mouse in VR is just one. Another strange thing is, that the Intro plays it's sound only on the VR-Headset when you use a different Audio-Headset. After moving into the menu everything is fine. Having no possibility to make keybindings for some VR-Settings like Reset, Worldscale is another thing, but well, who knows what will come in the next months...

@mr_belowski I'm not sure if the possitional tracking is missing completly. But something is definitely strange there. I tried to step out the car, which is possible, but just it worked just in a limited way... In Raceroom walking around a car is no problem. In ACC something seems to hold me back...

Hey, my SSRG wheel has 26 inputs too:

But my IginitionControls button box has 32 more, so, I'm good... :D

Any chance you could show off the bracket holding the fanatec shifter on? I don’t love my own solution.

Just a bracket that I got from SimLab:

    https://sim-lab.eu/product/fanatec-club-sport-shifter-universal-mount/

(Though I placed it in a way that is not shown on the pics in the link).
This way I need to detach the shifter first if I want to move the bracket (if ever needed).

Where did you get this little connector plate from? The one on the right from the wheel where the seq shifter is attached.

This one no doubt ? :D

It's a carbon plate that Johan from SSRG made for me. That way the coiled cable is stretched a lot less (my PC's USB ports are farther away).
    Looks good too :)

This is the reversible chassis mount from Neutrik that is used:
