Music has always been a big part of my life. It is my stress reliever and motivator. I'm always looking for something new. I found this recently and it blew my mind! www.waxaudio.com.au Here are a couple of my favorites.... Do you know of any music that's a little different? I would like to hear it
As for the heavy section I`m not so much into (as well as MTV Mainstream brainwash) except there are intelligent concepts and lyrics behind (someone knows Rage against the Machine or Clawfinger from the ninetees ?) and are not only reduced on playing "naughty" while banging their heads making satanic gestures (Lord thats so stupid)...but there are exceptions like this one from Rammstein "Keine Lust" ("Don`t like to") which is about the well-known feelings of boredom, frustration, decadence, lacking motivation, inner corruption - despite the topic he sings about it really wakes me up when feeling dull.
And last not least from the time Hip Hop still had a meaning (cause I totally agree with them: "F*** *censored* the game if they ain`t sayin' nothin" ! )
my youth and my dead --> dEpEcHe mOdE ooooh yeeeeeeah, let me see you stripped!!! and best cover this song from Rammstein and SCOOTER
my favorite music for racing is 90's british rock. here's some feeder: I was going to post renegades but i realized the video has tits in it (although youtube is fine with it) so use youtube.com/watch?v=mclNzNyhq4A
Not sure how well known they are, but Roxy Music, especially the first three albums (before they went a little soft in the 80's) is one my favourite bands, Brian Ferry is simply amazing, some of my favourites: Great driving music.
Thx Chris, reminds me to the Band that was most influencial to me (long before they started to make Popmusic) :
@F_FLETCHER Lol, ausgerechnet Scooter...immerhin Half of the vids I can`t see without "proxy" may the gods send GEMA to hell
OH yeah Fairman, Genesis, one of music sadder stories, they were so great in the beginning, just like Rod Stewart for example. Just remember "Maggie May", "The Killing of Georgie" or "Handbags and Gladrags". although the latter one being brought to perfection by Chris Farlowe.
Well at least Peter Gabriel (even when his retreat started the decay) and of course Steve Hackett are keeping up that old spirit...
