[QUOTE = "Anton, post: 161584, member: 16116"] have you uploaded the new version? [/ QUOTE] Sorry buddy, but bought a house and been very busy moving etc. Will try to upload a beta as soon as I can. Thanks for understanding.
Dear Stefan, is it possible to set the service to serve from another IP? I have a virtual box on my machine and if I start the dash app it connects to the virtual machine IP and works fine but if I want to connect from an iPad it does not work (can't connect). Example: my pc has a local IP 192.168.1.13, start the Proracing Dashboard Manager (and a game) and start the listener. I can reach the web interface both from my pc or my iPad too. If I connect to 192.168.10.1 from my pc, everything just fine. If I connect to 192.168.10.1 from my iPad, just trying to connect. "Trying to connect to Proracing windows application... Please check that the windows application is running and that IP 192.168.10.1 & Port 57777 are correct and have access through your firewall." Is there a way to solve this problem on a local network only? Update: if I disable the virtual box adapter, the service is running 192.168.1.13. Works from pc but can't get the connection from iPad. Cheers, Greg
Hi Greg, I am not sure I fully understood. The app tries to get the local IP of where it is running and then it sets that as a web server and also it opens a web socket on that same IP so that that data is emitted from this IP. This IP is shown on the windows app, so on the ipad you need to make sure that you set this IP... Please let me know if you think there is a problem with the app...
Hi Stefan, I made a little video from it, maybe it will be clearer what I'm trying to do and what is my problem Basically: start raceroom, load a session and go to drive start Proracing Dashboard Manager desktop app (pc) it starts listener immediately click to open dashboard button start Proracing Web Dashboard launch dashboard with the local ip/port settings select analog 1 display the data read is ok, the display is going live If I do the exact same steps on Proracing Web Dashboard, it connects, launches with the same ip/port, select analog 1 display, and it's just trying to get the live data. Video link:
I see that you have different IPs set under "Steaming to Web" and "Web application". Not sure how you have the .13 set under the web application but it works with the .15. Seems like some strange things are going there. Under "Web application", change to Custom and set the IP as the .15 (like the other) and see if it works. Which IP is for your virtual box? I might need to replicate this on my pc to test it if it wont work for you....
Hi @Anton , here is a BETA with the fix: http://dash.proracing.club/downloads/ProracingInstaller_v1.6.4.3_x64.exe Please let me know if you find any issues. Thanks!
Windows Defender is badass so after i installed the beta version, first message: Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinstanz festgelegt. tried again with my ip to connect to the dashboard on my second monitor, and Please check that the windows application is running and that IP XXX.XXX.X.XXX & Port 57777 are correct and have access through your firewall.
Hmm, that's not a nice error at all. Maybe you can send me the log file? Also, you might need to make a fresh install as this BETA has a large refactoring in the code.... EDIT: Never mind, I tried a fresh install and that is when one gets the error..let me fix it and will upload a new BETA
okay after the fix, the message is gone but still Trying to connect to Proracing windows application...
