Shorter names -> Less paint required to write them on the car -> Faster lap.

Well known tactic for disabling women from wandering into shops on a whim.
Extra brownie points earned, as they think it's romantic. ;)

Initially, J-F told 20GB on the RD stream, but he made a mistake.

Yes, I had been looking at it wrong. 2.8 GB is still good, right? :p

I think that 2.8GB is much better than downloading 20GB :p

20GB vs 2.3GB is like quality over quantity. And let me say that the quality is SUPER!

Thanks for this update and the new cars! Already did some hotlaps at different tracks. What a joy.
Have to use and compare the three GT4 a bit more to choose my personal favorite.

Just throw them around Spa-Francorchamps. Feel the weight transfer when you climb Radillion/Eau Rouge. Insane. Yes I admit I'm very enthusiastic ;)

M3 is sublime, all I'm gonna say as I'm busy driving.
Quick dash in the GT4's, different but fun, loving the FFB with the new tyre model, get some great rear end breakaway action, with the feel to hold it, top fun.
Same class but 3 totally different cars to drive!

Sorry, little confused. I purchased the Porsche Cayman GT4 a few days ago. Isn't this different from the 'MR version'? It appears they're the same as I checked the store and it shows I own it already, though their specs are different (and 2 categories show them, GT4 and Cayman GT4 Trophy by Manthey-Racing.)

Those GT(R)4 are so awesome bitchy but very fast Cayman, weasel-like KTM and a "cruisy" Evora. They are as different as they can be.

Because Motorsport is still a moneyburner, and if you run a serious business with a special kind of customer, they maybe would see it as a bad thing. But some drivers also use these for fun.

You probably purchased the Cayman GT4 CS from the Cayman Trophy (that class was renamed yesterday).
You need to buy the Cayman GT4 CS MR to use it in the GT4 class.

What are the differences between the two versions of the Cayman?

I see on the Raceroom page that the GT4 version weighs 1.300 kg. and the Cayman Trophy version weighs 1.380 kg. Is there any other difference between them besides the weight?

There are some more differences due to the FIA GT4-Homologation.

The Name "GT4" in the Cayman is a bit misleading, as it is just the name of the car but has nothing todo with the FIA GT4-Rules.
Manthey used the Cayman GT4 as a base-car to modifiy it to FIA GT4 spec --> that was names Cayman GT4 MR. That requires some more safety-features and allows to change some bodyparts (doors, Windows) to make it lighter. In addition it has slightly better aero and a changeable rear-wing, a bit better suspension and modifiable brake-balance. On Power-Side it is the same.

The gtr4 version is a homologated gt4 class car. The Manthey trophy Cayman is a cup car. The gtr4 version has got different components like fuel tank, I think different Material Bonnet and doors, plastic windows etc. Oh and it also allows you to adjust brake bias in the cockpit while driving.

    Edit: someone was faster.

Thank you very much for your responses.

The question now is this: Have these differences been taken into account in RR3? That is, are these two models different in the simulator?

    Yes, they have :)
That's why they are sold as two different cars.
