Last year we introduced the three modern Porsche Customer Racing flagships.

And this time we dive into the rich history of Porsche Motorsport to bring you three of the most iconic models to ever leave the factory in Zuffenhausen.

The December patch includes the first car, with the other two following early next year.

We are proud to introduce the:

Porsche 934 Turbo RSR (Group 4)

The Porsche 934 with its 480+ HP turbo-charged engine was introduced for the 1976 racing season, to compete in the Group 4 regulated series.

The Group 4 racing class refers to sporting regulations for Touring-, GT- and Rally cars that earned huge popularity in the 1970s.

These cars are slightly closer to their production models compared to the Group 5 cars, but absolutely spectacular nonetheless.

Derek Bell called the 934 “a nasty little beast.” Others were less charitable.

The raw driving experience, bone-shaking sounds and the sheer beauty of the 934 are the reason many consider it the most iconic car of this golden motorsport era.

It is one of the last examples of a road-legal race car.

With many championship wins and a 4th overall finish in the 1979 Le Mans 24 Hours, the 934 is a true racing legend.

We are planning to expand the Group 4 class next year for even more exciting and immersive races.

More to come in 2019. Stay tuned!

The 934 never raced under the Martini Racing colors, however the 934/5 did ;)

I believe this car was the first version of the 935 as raced in the beginning of 1976, not a 934/5 which was an hybrid car. The flat nose was introduced after few races, maybe the Silverstone 6 hours.
