That one ist not the 935 - that is the 934/5. The 935 always hat that typical silhouette with the Headlights in the bumper...

I'm afraid you are wrong. I remember the first races of the 1976 world championship and the car had those standard headlights. And I think the factory never entered 934/5 as they were made for private entrants.

Just have a look here and you will see the two front versions of #9.

You're totally right Beastux, and I should blame myself for rushing on these pictures. The Martini cars are indeed the factory 935/76 while the 934/5 were produced only for private teams.
The shape is almost the same but there are some important technical differences.

Interesting to note also, the 934 bodykits were mounted on some IMSA Carrera RSR 3.0 before the 934 release. These hybrid models were called "Carrera RSR" and their specs made them in-between Group 4 and Group 5, which made them the first actual 934/5 :)

Really happy to see the 934, I love the group 4 cars. Hope we get some CSLs at some point as well.

I bought 934 quickly and drove at Nordschleife.
It is very thrilling and must be handled delicately.
This is far more difficult than FRX - 17!
There is nothing to help the driver.

This Classic Porsche is for experts.
If you are not familiar with how to handle Classic Porsche, it is difficult to move forward.
Techniques such as popping brakes and left foot brakes will become important.

It is probably the most difficult car in R3E and difficult to drive.

How nice to already know the 934 was coming since @Anthony Monteil rated me winner this noon in the teasertopic. ;)

Just gave it a spin and I love it! Though I clearly sucks atm with the 934 in terms of speed it’s a beast which is a display of the progress S3S has made. And dat sound...

Thanks... really didn't know that the 935-Version with the OEM-Headlights existed.
It's really difficult not to mix them up. There a alot of different versions from the 934 and 935

Here for example three different Versions of the 934/5

If so, why so much camber on the default set-up?

Pffff. That was a lot of blood, sweat and lots of tears (of joy!).
Finally managed to do a clean (well about 98%) lap at Nordschleife
Try to keep this classic Porsche 934 on the asphalt with full throttle.
Even more thumbs up for the real racers who dare to take this one to the green Hell

ps YT needs some time to upload 4K

And it seems that each team had it's own version... Some were just 934 fitted with 935 rear wing while, as Anthony Monteil said, there were already many Carrera RSR 3.0 with highly modified bodyworks in IMSA races before the 934 was released.
    It can be quite confusing.

McPherson Strut front suspension which looses camber as the wheel travels upwards.

Biggest decision here is which of the 37 liveries to choose.
Thanks Sector 3 for the early Christmas gift.

I'm more worried about the rear. Anyhow isn't Mcpherson poorly designed if it looses camber? Small camber gains I can understand. Or is it torsion bar suspension modelled with McPherson?

E: Just checked, and yes it has McPherson, with longitudinal torsion bars, so a minor memory failure from me there

Yes, that's the inherent problem with a McPherson strut suspension - camber is always lost with upwards wheel travel, and gained as it drops.

At the rear it has a semi-trailing arm setup:

This can offer more camber gain than the front, but seeing as the suspension is very soft and body roll is so high, a lot of static camber has to be used in order to stop positive camber at the rear in high-loading turns.

So is the M1 Procar gonna get tossed in with the 934 at some point, since they where both Group 4, and what other cars are planned for Group 4?
