strange AI BUG

there is a video on you tube from georg ortner (100 cars on nordschelife) on minute 1:50, while all cars should go left on track...they go right through cones(wich are not hammered by those cars)on a forbidden road(they are not pitting). I think is an AI bug, what do you think?!?

 

Usual procedure on that layout, cars are taking that shortcut to start/finish, so they don't have to do a full lap on the Nordschleife before they start a timed lap. And as I guess @Georg Ortner recorded that video in a practice session and not in a race everything should be fine.

 

I think we all use that shortcut on the Nordschleife VLN for start a timed lap faster

 

I had misunderstood for a long time too.
This is a good hint.

 

ok but in the game they pass over cones and nothing happens,i mean cones are like invincible and don't go down...
So this abit of those cars is something preprogrammed?!?

 

I think the cones are bugged right now, they can't fall over.

 

i think its where they need to mark an entry or exit they arent collision objects seeing as the track marshalls are on strike and dont replace them , on some tracks im sure some cones can still be punted around , but other than that i dont remember much
