I doubt they will move Carlsson to GT4 as Hillclimbers just got new physics

    EDIT:
Oh god, I forgot that German Nationals exist :D I would see them stuffed into GTR1 probably (it's a bit weird class anyway), but would need to loose some weight

Why does the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR have a different engine sound than the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport? Don't both cars use the same engine or is it because of the carbon fibre stuff built into the car?

    hi all
It would be fine to see in gt4 class two cars with front engine rearwheel drive layout and the Alpine gt4 and the 911 becouse we have only midenginecars in the grid.

Both cars have different sounds because I initially made one sound for each car (two different recordings). Even if both Cayman should sound the same on the paper, they happened to be a bit different irl, which we wanted to replicate in the game.
In the end, it also helps to differentiate them and give each their own personality/ambience, on the top of the physics which are quite distinct aswell. ;)

Just beginned a championship VS AI with the KTM...
Wathever I try, it's impossible to have a good start with it...
Always loosing 3 or 4 position at start... It's very disapointing, as it can be fast enough in qualifying to be on Pole, and I think no one would take it in a league championship if nothing change :(

This happens cause the KTM is the only turbo charged car in the class, and as such it was also affected by the turbo drop-off changes (that were made necessary by the h-pattern fixes). I've reported this (and the same issue regarding some other cars, like Gr5 f.e.) and will keep poking the devs about it. ;)

I'm actually gaining 2-3 spots on my starts with KTM
Are you guys using any traction control? I'm using none and basically just drop the clutch on full revs, it does a little wheel spin and away I go.

That's because there is no AI aggression slider

You can do better starts, also if you manage to modulate the clutch and brake perfectly in the Gr5 cars f.e., but up there I'm referring to autoclutch + gamepad and using that, the KTM (just like many other turbo cars) bogs down a bit. It does start alright, but it drops revs, many times even twice, before it gets going normally. And as I'm the gamepad ambassador here, I'm not happy with that. ;)

Lotus Evora has a high speed unstability at rear.
Try Bathurst fast downhill long straight, and you spin out easily when turning little to the right and maximum speed
I have set the suspension to the hardest compared to default, and wing set to 10

stiffer rear suspension reduces grip and increases oversteering.

And these cars tend to oversteer. See how the KTM driver easily lost the rear axle. 6-37

I heard that it is a mis shift in the video

I set the suspension to the hardest because the car rolls too much in very high speed and cause a spin. The downhill at Bathurst is very fast, almost exceed the maximum speed of the car, and it is not even considered as a turn. It is a little veer left and right.

    I fixed the Lotus Evora
It has very high speed unstability at silverstone, and Bathurst, but refusing to turn in corners at slow speed

I set the rear wing to maximum,
    set the springs to maximum
increase the stiffness of antiroll bar at the back

    problem fixed.

but honesty, I should not fix the car in this way, this shows the physics has flaws

I am now back to Leadership board with decent pace...

    Ummm… not really.

Everybody drives a race car differently. That's why the cars have set up options - so you can 'fix' them to suit your driving style. A fast set up for you may be quite slow for someone else.
