Ignore German and Swedish tracks, which country is next in the track number count i mean 6 years and only 1 and a half UK tracks Your not that entitled, there are many countries with many good tracks that should be in the game but are not!
Add me to the list that would like more American tracks. Actually cars would be better (GTE and LMP2 please!) Tracks: -Lime Rock -Watkins Glen -Road Atlanta Please no COTA...please....terrible track.
to be honest we have quite a few american tracks if we need one more then it should be a classic so sebring Andi
Germany: 6/7 Sweden:5 USA:5 China:3 everywhere else 2 or 1 (assuming Stowe doesn't count as a separate track) USA isnt doing badly.
… for sure we need more UK tracks, but if R3E wants become a real iRacing opponent then they need a bigger intersections with them and more US stuff is one of the most significant key to success. … if SimBin UK will get a full WEC license for GTR3, then it's just a matter of time until Sebring is part of the R3E store. Everyone outside USA couldn't care less about most American tracks though, there's a few good ones, but we already have plenty. How many of iracing members are from USA Vs rest of the world and how many of those just race oval crap?
I'm not sure if oval is crap, sure it is different and not much interested to me either, but I'm sure for those who can get in to it, it is not crap. What I know is that there is quite bit more depth than just going around in oval, but it is more about tactics than handling of the car. I don't know how many good road circuits US has, but for example Road Atlanta is a huge miss for me, that is more entertaining than most of the other tracks in game I believe. Not huge fan of Laguna Seca on other hand, somehow that does not quite flow, despite elevation changes somehow corners on Laguna Seca feels like corners on airfield track, not sure why.
Jeez man, you could raise the Hillclimb run tally to 50 plus with just UK venues, throw in some of the most iconic tracks in history, Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Donnington, Cadwell, Thruxton, Mallory, Knockhill etc, etc and just to finish rustle up a few of our motors, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Cosworth, Lotus, Catarham. Mini, Bentley, Maclaren, Vauxhall, AC, Ariel, etc, etc, etc Not to sure why there is even discussions on this topic, S3 could be tied up for the next 10 years with what Blighty brings to the race table. Plus, someone needs to maintain all these for posterity, seeing as we're slowly drifting out into the Atlantic and the plug is about to get pulled!
I'm having most fun with Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, same layout since the beginning Road Atlanta, home of Petit Le Mans Sebring International Raceway, speaks for itself Virginia International Raceway, died and was revitalised Watkins Glen International, it's The Glen
Oh, oval certainly does not offer anything to me either, but consider racing crowd is rather small, maybe more variety to offer oval guys fun too is not too bad, especially if it helps with more income and possibility to more content etc.
Race 07, Puebla Oval i think it was, had some fantastic races online at that place, there is definitely room for an oval track just not too crazy about them myself. Sector 3 should be porting that one over similar to the older tracks they brought in
Having ovals are more than just allow people to drive on the tarmac. Oval races would require new rules to be coded in for it to working otherwise it would be pointless outside of messing around with how fast you can get the FR-17X to go.
