Hi Ian, sorry I took so long to get back. I had a busy weekend.
So anyway from what I've read, this might just be a move sideways. But It really helped my sons laptop so it's worth a try.
I got this directly from Microsoft answers.
Since you have an integrated graphics in place of a video card, it is not possible to allocate dedicated memory from RAM like in windows 7.
There are however a couple of things you can do to help improve your laptops performance.

    Method 1:
Here are the steps to increase the Virtual Memory.
    1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Search.). Type Advanced system settings.
    2. Click Advanced system settings. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    3. On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.
    4. Click the Advanced tab, and then, under Virtual memory, click Change.
    5. Clear the Automatically manage paging file size for all drives check box.
    6. Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file you want to change.
    7. Click Custom size, type a new size in megabytes in the Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, click Set, and then click Ok.

    Method 2
Try to install the game in Compatibility Mode and check if it helps.
    1. Download the game and then right-click on it.
    2. Click Properties, then on compatibility tab.
    3. Select Compatibility mode. Click Ok.

Then now to try to install it.

You can also refer the link. Change compatibility settings manually:

And here's the link to that page if you need it.

Hi Gregory I've tried all of them but none of them improve my FPS rate. Do you have any other suggestions?

As previously mentioned your laptop just isn't good enough to run raceroom properly even at the lowest settings. You need a new (or new to you) PC. You don't have to spend the earth though. A mid range dedicated graphics card is an absolute minimum. You can get something that will do the job for £300 or so, it's exactly what I did when I realised my laptop wasn't up to the job.

Hi Ravey It looks that way, and, I'll have to fork out for a replacement laptop. But I'll keep exploring for an intervening fix, in the meantime. Thanks

No offence, but you won't find one. If all gfx settings are on lowest already then there's not much more can be done.

It seems that you will need a fresh new computer as what other members suggested.
Your old one might be good for emails and watching porn, thats about it.

Yah unfortunately that’s about all you can do. If you really want to do some racing. You could get GT legends from steam. The graphics are about 15 yrs old. But your system would run it fairly well. I thinks like $6 US. And you’d get some racing in.

Yup, Ok. I plan to return to the racing track, building up to do a full season of WEC in 2020. Le Mans is always been a dream to do it and I plan to do it as well. I'm driving a Audi 2016 DTM car as it's maybe the closest I can get to the car which I'll drive in WEC. By the way, I'm South African and I raced everywhere in the late seventies and early eighties here.

Then you need to bite the bullet and buy a better system.

I currently have an outdated computer i5-3570 CPU, 3.40Ghz, 8gm Ram, GTX 560Ti. Smooth run on medium settings. Not good with high setting especially when racing against Ai. I have 3 monitor setup but unfortunately can only run on one screen due to computer and graphics limitations. I must get the new one soon.

I hope this helps a little in terms of the specifications. If you can afford, get the latest computer with the solid CPU and Graphics and at least one SSD Drive. Ram memory comes standard with 16gb with most new computers. I don't recommend trying to save a penny for something that will be outdated in the near future.

That's very similar to mine, i5 3470, 8gb ram, 1050ti. I can run everything on high apart from reflections which is medium and I get good performance (over 60fps) with a full grid of AI. While I agree that it's best to get the most powerful computer you can afford at the time you don't have to spend the earth either. This system cost me only £300 and it will last me a good few years yet as I only play certain games.
