Anything look wrong here? The IP address is the same one that shows up when i try ipconfig in cmd or jsut googling my public ip. The Steam ID has not changed, its the usual thing, and the port is indeed open when i try and test it on online. so confused.
With External Ip it gets more complicated as you need to make sure that your router is port forwarded and your apps have to be accessible to the out side world. I have also mention many times that many things like livetiming, live map and some others will not work with remote but web needs to be set to local. What are you exactly trying to achieve and which widgets are you using?
Yes, the correct ports are forwarded and are open when i use port checkers. My purpose is having my friend in Chicago (i am in Canada) be my crew chief. Well, we just tested it and he's able to see all the data on telemetry_justrace_net but i cannot see that information if i use telemetry_justrace_net. So i set the Web to Local, and now when i click open dashboard, it works from my end AND he can see from his end. okay. No idea why this is all working now, but i won't touch any settings And you're right, deleting the programdata did nothing. this is all working with the existing program data files btw. did not need to delete them.
Cool, it could be that the program is only allowing 1 connection for the data to be streamed, it was something I had added in the past to limit streaming issues but as far as I remember I had then removed that limitation. I see you're using it for RF2 let me know if you have any further issue. I was quite busy in the last 2 years and some stuff is unfinished but hopefully will continue updating it at some point.
Hi Stefan, I can not seem to make the overlay widgets work in RRE. Using local ip & local, enabled tire info on Direct x tab, start the listener, check the 1. tire info.....overlay appears as grey transparent box, but after a while Failed to load URL with 'ConnectionTimedOut' error appears. In pits with engine running, then drive out once overlay appears. In window borderless mode.
Are you talking about ingame widgets or windowed borderless widgets? Make sure you have latest and ideally fresh install as I changed the domain name
That's quite an old version, it wont work for you as the domain name has changed. It did not ask you to auto update? Edit: Seems like if you have an old version it will not auto update. You can download the latest version at http://telemetry.justrace.net/downloads/ProracingInstaller_v1.6.4.6_x64.exe
I have now added support to stream widget in-game which is possible in the latest update. As before, create your own dashboards. At the end of this post is how you can do it. Make sure you have latest version by letting the app to auto update or download from http://telemetry.justrace.net I created a simple one as below. 1. Try and use the largest possible view port (dash screen size) when creating the dash 2. Make sure you tick ON "Auto Fit To Screen" 3. In-game, you can use your mouse to scroll left and right, just swipe the mouse. You can also map next/previous buttons from the app Device Key Mappings How to use: Go to Steam, right-click on the game, Properties, Set Launch Options and then enter the options shown under image below: -webHudUrl=http://telemetry.justrace.net/Widgets/Dash.html?ip=127.0.0.1&port=57778&hud=1 You need to replace the 127.0.0.1 with your IP which is found on the dash app If you dont know how to create a dash, check this video: To be honest, it is not very user friendly, as you need to create the dash on the web and then try it in-game, but thats all I got for now.
The latest version was updated to be in line with raceroom update so it should be working, having issues?
