First, I love Sector 3. Raceroom is my favorite sim but its lacking OSW/ Direct Drive wheel support. It seems that the focus is on consumer wheels only. Please think of OSW users as well. Love you all, best regards
Be careful with Force feedback intensity 100%. 911 GT3 Cup or modern DTM at Red Bull Ring will break your arms
for the direct drive, we also miss the automatic detection of the rotation of the steering wheel to apply to each car raceroom is the last game to not know how to do it
You need to go to X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\raceroom racing experience\Game\GameData\General Open up Steeringwheel.xml and change either of these.... <key type="uint32">268169301</key> <!-- MMos ForceFeedback 2014 --> <value> <vendorSpecificRangeLock type="bool">true</vendorSpecificRangeLock> <key type="uint32">224007888</key> <!-- Simucube --> <value> <vendorSpecificRangeLock type="bool">true</vendorSpecificRangeLock> Change the values in bold from false to true depending if you are using a MMOS or Simbcube or just change both to true, the DOR per car will then show in game ;-)
Thanks for the info. The link above is informative and only user shared settings. I can share mine too but that is not what the topic is all about. Thanks anyway.
Great, haven´t thought it is so simple Does <maxWheelRange type="uint32">1080</maxWheelRange> mean, that in Simucube Configuration tool should be set a steering range of 1080 too?
If you have Simucube at 900 then change that value to 900 in the folder, if you want to run 1080 DOR then yes change it 1080 in Simucube.
yes but raceroom does not know how to manage the automatic rotation according to the car, is not it true? sorry for my English
I've added value (true) in steam just so I can see the rotation value in Raceroom for each car and then adjust in MMoS accordingly. The reason for that is trying to keep steering wheel linear.
