I've been playing quite a bit of RRRE the past few weeks, and I've really noticed how much more difficult I find certain tracks to learn and race. For me Sachsenring and Slovakia Ring, both of which seem to be full of braking zones just before/after crests of hills making judging corner apexs really difficult, combined with lot of non-constant radius corners, are the two I've found most difficult.
I usually find anything with a chicane in it awkward. I don't know what it is, but I'm just hopeless at navigating chicanes at speed. Also blind corners, such as those at the crest of a hill. Hate corners like that with a passion.
Dont know if its because theyre difficult but i really dont enjoy oschersleben and sachsenring Edit: add sonoma to that as well Edit.2: and moscow
Any until I've learned them. Unfortunately my levels of patience are generally low so if I don't enjoy a track I find it hard to put the time in. I generally drive at the same 10 or so tracks even though I own all of them.
Slovakiaring is my home country track ...I like Raceroom also because its only one sim with any slovakian track in the base. First I try to learn with gt3 cars (cca. 80 laps) and on the next day I use the wtcr cars and everything was okay including sharp turns. On the other hand there are some very fast turns, so track is generally diverse. There was real formula 4 race in one season and pilots was really satisfied with track For me is difficult Portimao with one elevation turn, everytime I think there is end of the universe beyond the horizon but its fun to race there. The worst one is Silverstone, I am not able to memorized this track.
Simple, Paul Ricard. Just corners in a void. Nothing but plain tarmac and unnatural corners. No fun at all driving there, and even less fun bc i am slow there. Sachsenring on the other hand is difficult, bc of a bikesuited layout (like Most too) but i have time of my life there bc it feels natural. I hate the last hill to the S-F line, but it is so satisfiing when you get it right and the power down
Sonoma. Those initial off-camber turns coming up the hill will get me every time. Oh, and Spa. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great track, and I thoroughly enjoy racing there. But I couldn't set a fast lap there if my life depended on it.
Sonoma would be at the top of my list. Sachsenring would be second. It takes long to find my rhythm on those two tracks.
Moscow Raceway because I've never taken the time to learn it. Nordschleife because I know there's just so many places where I could gain time.
Bathurst Mount Panorama for me. I only can manage one clean lap out of ten . When I don't rub the walls, I miss my braking points (too often at the end of Conrod straight).
Definitely Macau, there’s no other competitor. You have to be concentrated all the time otherwise you’ll kiss the wall.
We should have a alternativ online edition of Macau, without the hairpin. Unreal but that would make it drivable.
I love to, but not alone...to many cowards out there Seriously : Guess you gotta love Rally and Hillclimb to really appreciate Macau...and yes it's exhausting - if you wanna get some pounds off your belly ...
