Hi all, I do not see an option in R3E to set the FOV manually other than the standard 1x ratio. Is there no other way to give the game any input on which value you want the FOV to bet set at? I use a triple setup and that works fine. Although normally you have to set the FOV somewhere. If you set the in-game FOV setting to 1x, will the game calculate the correct FOV with the start options you set in Steam? I have set it to, -triScr 65 -t 61 34.40 0.8 61 34.40 0.8 50 61 34.40 0.8 50 1
Hi U can set some keys to increase/decrease Fov in game (control setup menu). Personnaly, i use triscreen with Fov to 1x.
Yes I noticed the key option for that bit other then that there is no option to do so? Like you see in pcras. Np but I personally don’t like the way it is done with the keys.. anyway, thanks for the reply.
As long as all the values you input into the startup argument are accurate then the FOV will be correct. (At 1.0x for triples) This can be fine tuned to taste with the key adjustments. There is no other way to setup triple screens in game.
Thanks.. if it works that way then it is ok for me. I altered the in-game FOV a little bit. It is now set to 55 with the keybindings. I leave it this way as it suit my needs.
I think they may have made some changes. All my seat positions were off as to wear I had the set last time I played which was over a week and a half. Had to move the seat back and it feels much better. But I have noticed that the triple screen keybindings seem to not work anymore. For me anyway
I did not noticed any changes thus far. The only annoying thing still are the seat ears when you move the cam backwards. Would love to have an option to turn them off..
I have noticed that , and that’s kinda what I think may have changed cause it seems like you can’t put the seat back as far before they start to show
I do. Based off the results from the data it asks https://www.projectimmersion.com says to use 0.5 for my screen sizes and distance i set away from them.
0.5 is way to close to my liking. I use 0.8 or 0.9. Gives me a nice view. Still fairly close but comfortable enough to race with.
I’ll have to experiment with a few clicks past 0.5. Even with triple screens, I still can’t see turns well with the LMP1 cars
Now that I also race with a triple setup I have to take a look at a eye tracker solution. Perhaps that works nice with triple screens.
That wouldn't make sense to me to have trackIR and triples. Tripes are supposed to allow you to have perif vision. TrackIR does the same thing when you only have one monitor.
