I was wondering if @Alex Hodgkinson could do one of his driving guides for the WTCR class? I find them very difficult to drive quickly, I know lift off oversteer is a FWD trait but whenever I try to enter a corner at any speed the rear end is gone..... Not sure if it's due to a huge physics change but I find the WTCC cars much easier to drive eg 2015 honda civic Vs 2018 civic. Surely they should be similar?
I thought it was just me. I really want to do an offline championship with the WTCR but keep falling back to the WTCC series as they are so much easier to handle. At Bathurst, I am unable to get a clean lap in WTCR as I can in WTCC. I lose the backend at the dipper everytime. Tried many set ups but to no avail. A guide would be handy.
I'd love to see that too. These cars take some mastering, would appreciate some tips from the god r3e physics.
While both WTCC and WTCR are FWD, they use different regulations so there should be some difference in behavior. Its ofcourse dependent on setup and so on. For the big surprise, the safe bet would probably be WTCR 2019. They have worked togheter for a long time. WTCR seemed really excited about the esport tournament last year and we have already seen a picture with a Honda using a 2019 livery. They could ofcourse come with a surprise, it's not impossible. We will see when they actually make their announcement. Also, feels like we should be approaching the next track release.
Yes, yes! Raceroom is far the best sim which I try. Please, if you prepare WTCR 2019, lets make tracks from 2019 calendar too. It would be nice to replicate whole season with proper tracks and proper races rules (trainings, qualys and 3 races in the weekend). Thank you
