Yes, I was a IndyCar / Champ Car fan in the late 90s until the early 00s and yes the FR US car was a nice surprise in 2017, but the design of the Dallara DW12 is really ugly in comparison to the new FR X-90 car. One of the reasons why I still hope for a next R3E project called "FR US-19" or "FR US-20" with a thematic focus on a digital copy of this beauty: black - white - red: the perfect R3E livery design ... already identified : https://forum.sector3studios.com/in...ming-content-features.112/page-49#post-167864
Never got why people didnt like the 2015-2017 indycars. Their beauty is the reason i started following the series. The new one aint bad but nowhere near the previous one imo
Now with Automobilista 2 on it's way can you step up the game, S3? I'm not asking for everything over night but gives us something more, not only content, please? Although, there are never enough tracks xD If I have to ask for something first would be the multiplayer part. Official series, ratings and so on.
But with actually good physics now But seriously, Sector 3, I love you, but if AMS 2 turns out the way I expect (Reiza physics magic + PCars graphics) then you and I might not see each other for awhile ... Who am I kidding... I just can't quit you guys (too much money invested already)
To me they look ugly as hell. Not as bad as modern F1 cars though but still. One car with different engine sounds I guess. They all have 680 hp and share the same models, even the steering wheel is the same.
They do differ physics-wise tho. My guess on this is that they were once again faced with a terrible choice. It would definitely be nice if there were nuances regarding the bodykits and a somewhat more refined interior, but that would probably have meant waiting for several more months. I think it's a fair compromise they found, after all you'll be able to get 3 totally-not-F1-fantasy-open-wheelers for the price of one. And maybe the day will come where they have a little breathing room and can update the visuals (which aren't final in those vids, remember it's still WIP).
do you ever read the developer update posts? only a small part of that is talking about new content. And if you don't bring new content at all over a period.. the next guys come and complain why there is no new content.
In order to answer some questions : The FR90 is one 3D chassis, but three different physics/engines and three different sounds. Further details will come very soon
Tomorrow, please Raceroom openwheelers are the best and this will be a gem in the mosaic of F1 golden ages
At the end of the ‘80s and beginning of the ‘90s those “one” “ugly” cars drove with either a V8 (Ford, Yamaha, Judd), V10 (Honda, Renault) or a V12 (Ferrari, Lamborghini). Those where the days . Besides slight physics differences they don’t even are (and thus need to be) that different from each other.
Nope. Thats just an update on whats being worked on at the moment (so in may) but work can easily take a good bit longer for some of the things at least. But with the fr90 cars already being given out to jimmy broadbent and co for previews we might not have to wait too long for those but no guarantee for that either
I'm looking forward to the FR90. I only very recently discovered the FR 3 - which is a blast! A real hidden gem.
@J-F Chardon The kick function works nice, but maybe an extra option possible. If you kick someone is it better that hé or she can't join for a time (for example one hour) Another question about the dedicated server. Could there be an option to write some info about the race or the community? Just that you can give extra info
I would like to make a replica wheel for the '90 F1 cars. The problem is, none of the MOMO wheels looks like the one used in the game. Does anyone knows a matching steering wheel?
