If you decrease the front ground clearance you will see a huge change in behaviour. The lower the car either in the front or rear section, the more downforce you have in this area. You can also change the rear toe.

One notice on the AI: they are really slow in Turn 12 / The Carousel (just before the start-finish). Perhaps something to look at in future updates? @J-F Chardon @Alex Hodgkinson

Apart from that huge update, I love these cars.

Not just in a pack also when just one AI is in front of me. Can’t figure why they’re so slow there.

because its a general bug with all ai that we are trying to fix , there are long sweeping corners where they fgain on you an dthere are hard braking tight corners and chicanes where they over slow , we are working on it

While checking the adjustment ranges of the 962 in the Mid Ohio competition I noticed a small funny bug: you can set 101% lock for the differential. :p

When I first got the 962, I was running at Most, which was also new. They seems quick and fun to drive, but did not Wow me, probably because I was not comparing the car in familiar territory.. Took the 962 to the Nordschliefe for a change....holy moly. Compared to other cars I've run there, just nuts. So fast and massive down force. What a blast. I will now be touring my other tracks in this car...in between running the improved WTCR 2018.

I'm loving these cars but finding them very hard to get off the line - losing 8 spots straight off.

    (1) Did they do rolling starts in this category?

    (2) Is there a WTCR-like launch button to hold down?

    1) this is what I found:

It’s safe to say yes, rolling start.

    2) To my knowledge only WTCR ‘18 and ‘19 cars does have launch button. For the rest it’s a matter of praying. For Group C standing starts it’s just a matter of not dying immediately :fearscream::tearsofjoy:.

Regarding 2) im pretty sure only the wtcr cars have launch control in the game as patrick said
But i got curious and tried a few standing starts in the nissan and it seems that full throttle at first and then try not to spin is the way to go :D
Ill add a quick video of two standing starts against the ai at 110. The first start is with autoclutch and the second one with manual clutch

Thanks for this. I think it’s me then - I completely bog down and lose all power while the AI field gets away well. Don’t think I can feel/hear any wheel spin - just haven’t got any power.

    Practice. Practice. Practice.

Yeah if you dont give it enough throttle you can only slowly crawl away. Seems to be extremely important to keep the revs high at least for a good bit.
Regarding wheel spin i definitely had some but as long as you keep it under control it seems to be better than dropping the revs
