My old "GearEx Muddy SE" Club was reanimated for DR 2.0. You're welcome to join. The Cub Tool is still rudimentary and doesn't like too much editing, but here we go Four 4WD Events (Gr.A, Gr. B, R5, 2000cc) of 4 Days each. Driving Assists and Force Cockpit View are OFF. Ignore the difficulty settings displayed at the club side. Have Fun

VR runs really really shitty with the Valve Index even with a 2080Ti on the lowest settings. But.... the Samsung C49RG90 in a dark room on the motion rig is an almost VR experience
I manage to get it run smooth at extreme low settings and supersampling but then it looks so ugly i don't even want to drive it with my eyes closed The picture quality on the Samsung 5120x1440@120Hz is awesome, super smooth and it never drops below 120fps. I run everything at high settings, but have turned of crowds since the frame drops caused by crowds isn't worth it.
My only problem with this awesome monitor was be the missing G-Sync compatibility. But after a bit of research it looks like it would work with Nvidia cards too. Damn, now I've gotten weak.
Firstly, it's highly advisable to follow the recommended graphical settings for VR, the game looks like s**t, but at least it runs fine. And secondly, it seems that the VR experience was optimised for 90 Hz, because it runs terribly at 120 Hz on my Index with heavy stuttering, but if I set it back to 90 Hz, I get smooth results.
i refunded it - couldn't get rid of the vomit-inducing VR head tracking lag, no matter what gfx settings i used (Valve Index, GTX 1080, Ryzen 3700x). Utterly incompetent minimum-effort VR "support" hackery. Complete and total bollocks
Agreed, you should not buy Dirt Rally 2 for the VR support. I love playing the game on my monitor, but if i was a dedicated VR player, i would stay away from this.
