Hello, the time export shows you with 2m 08.617s. Maybe you had a connection issue to the server?

I have invited the Macau Esports drivers to do a test on the practice server. Then we can see potential fixes for the future rounds. At least Lei competed in our leagues for years already, so I want to give them a chance to see if it was only the server yesterday.

General message for players racing from Asia:

In the races, especially server 2, we experienced a lot of lag, which influenced the races heavily, especially with drivers from Asia.
After performing tests today, we have decided that players with a ping over 150 can race, but will do the Slovakia Ring race under probation.
Race Direction will monitor Servers 1 and 2 and kick players, if lagging issues re-occur.
Please consider quitting the race, when you notice issues regarding your ping. You will have the Asia/Oceania qualifier races coming up, only for you, on a local server!
After the Slovakia Ring races, a final decision will be taken.

    Server 1 Qualifying
Kunze vs. Messaoud, Lap 1 chicane
Messaoud cuts the chicane, to get track position in quali, and passes Kunze.
This is against the sporting spirit of this championship, but there is no clear case in the rules about it, so for this time, we give a warning. Further infringements of this sort will be penalized with a points penalty.
    Warning - Redoine Messaoud

    Server 1 Race 1
Theot vs. Nandori, Lap 1 T4
Nandori gets the run on Theot out of T4 and goes to the left. First they go parallel, but he turns in slightly when his front right wheel is alongside Theot’s rear left wheel, which spins Theot into the barrier. Half penalty because of only slight wheel movement.
    Mark Nandori - 10 points

Maulana vs. Kunze, Lap 12, T1
Kunze drafts Maulana on the straight and goes for a move. Maulana moves to the inside, then Kunze moves further to the inside, loses control, hits Maulana and costs him positions. This accident is to some extent caused by Maulana moving under braking, but it is still avoidable contact from Kunze by losing control with a late braking move.
    Julian Kunze - 10 points
    Andika Rama Maulana - warning

    Server 1 Race 2
Ommen vs. Csuti, Lap 1 Chicane
Csuti goes in far too late on the brakes into the chicane, hits King and passes Segeir and Ommen illegally.
    Zoltan Csuti - 20 points - 1 strike

Ommen vs. Besch, Lap 2 T4
Ommen has an overlap on Besch, Besch slightly moves across and touches Ommen, which unsettles Beschs car. He catches it, and taps the brakes right infront of Ommen. Small misjudgement, bad consequences for Ommen.
    Franck Besch - 10 points.

Kwietniewski vs. Maulana, Lap 5 T1
Maulana brakes too late for Turn 1, touches Kwietniewski and takes the position. Kwietniewski loses two further positions.
    Andika Rama Maulana - 20 points - 1 strike

Kwietniewski vs. Löhner, Lap 10 T12
Kwietniewski does not accelerate coming out of T12 and gets hit by Löhner, who exits the corner normally. Löhner has no chance to avoid it with Leitner right behind him. Kwietniewski loses 4 places, Löhner loses 1 to Leitner. As Kwietniewski picked up a slowdown penalty before on the lap, we have reason to believe he was trying to give the time back he gained on the racing line, which is creating a dangerous situation and clearly forbidden in the rules.
    Kristian Kwietniewski - 10 points

Messaoud vs. Keithley, Lap 11 T2
Keithley mistimes a switchback move, hits Messaoud who spins.
    Jack Keithley - 20 points, 1 strike

    Server 2 Race 1
Courtois vs. AJ Alves vs. Almubarak, Lap 1 T1
This is a combination of racing incident and lag. Slight touch between Almubarak and AJ Alves on the straight. Courtois gets crashed out as a result, but the replay shows no contact between him and any other car. Therefore, even though Courtois is heavily disadvantaged without his fault, we have to go with...
    No action

Courtois vs. Ayosa, Lap 11 T8
Ayosa hits Courtois, but he only disadvantages himself.
    No action

    Server 2 Race 2
Courtois vs. Sabino, Lap 2 T6
Sabino hits Courtois coming into the chicane. The incident looks a bit strange because of lag again, but it is clearly Sabino hitting him this time.
    Lei Sabino - 8 points - 1 strike

Courtois vs. Gunay, Lap 6 T9
Gunay hits Courtois into half spin by attempting a pass in turn 6 where he had not enough overlap.
    Sinan Gunay - 8 points - 1 strike

    Server 3 Race 2
    R Alves vs. Vega, Lap 12 T4
R Alves misses a gear on the straight. Vega tries to go for the outside, and makes slight contact with Alves. The contact physics are really strange in this scene, which is why we reduce it to a half-penalty.
    Caryl Vega - 2 points

Round 2 of the Esports WTCR OSCARO takes the RaceRoom drivers to the Slovakia Ring, and Englishman Jack Keithley leads the championship in his Williams Esports Audi.

Keithley received a 20 points penalty for a collision with Redoine Messaoud, but his gap is still 17 points to last year’s champion Bence Bánki. But with 6 events to come, and the worst event score being dropped, this does not say too much yet. In fact, Bence Bánki already showed his class again in the pre-qualifying, where he topped the timesheets at his home circuit. Gergo Baldi was second, but no one should underestimate the CUPRAs of Kunze, Wisniewski, Jarschel and co., which look extremely menacing on race pace.

For several top drivers, the new season actually begins at round 2; the most prominent being 2017 Esports WTCC champion Alexander Dornieden of FA Racing Esports, who picked the Lynk & Co. 03 TCR for this season. Kevin Siggy Rebernak (EDGE Esports / Hyundai) and Attila Dencs (ZENGO Esport / Cupra) also start the season at the Slovakia Ring.

Niels Langeveld will also make a return! After scoring the most points in Server 3 last time out, he managed to qualify for Server 2 this time, where he will face even stronger opposition, such as former race winners Márk Nándori and Jan Stange.

You can watch both the races of server 2 with Niels Langeveld, and the top split, live on Sunday, 15:45 GMT (17:45 CEST) here:

Well, you did great on both races, dude ;)

About your accident, I used to be a track marshall for my team so I will try to give you an objective point of view. The way I see it, both of you were aiming for the next corner and I didn't see any moves like changing race line from both of you. The contact and the accident just after look like a combination of circumstances. In conclusion, it looks like a race incident to me.

Of course, this is just my point of view, the track marshalls for the eSports WTCR may have a different opinion on it.

    Server 1 Qualifying

Baldi vs. Keithley, 2 minutes before the end, final corner
Keithley blocks Baldi in the final corner on purpose, destroying his lap.
    Jack Keithley - 20 points - 1 strike

    Server 1 Race 1

Dencs vs. Juhasz / Ommen vs. Juhasz Lap 1 T3
Juhasz comes across Segeir, which pushes Segeir to the side, collecting Balazsin. Juhasz also loses control and hits off Dencs.
    Krisztian Juhasz - 20 points - 1 strike

Ommen vs. Rebernak, Lap 2 T5
Rebernak is battling with Kurbanov and goes sideways into turn 6. When he recovers, he is not on the throttle anymore, which blocks Leitner and sends off 5 cars in avoidance, onto the grass.
We cannot see the reason for Siggy not accelerating, but since he is just recovering from an accident, we have to give him the benefit of the doubt.
    No action

Ommen vs. Juhasz, Lap 5 T9
Juhasz goes for a dive on Ommen, who gets the cutback and retakes the position. Such moves are within the tolerance.
    Racing incident

Baldi vs. Jarschel, Lap 6, Final Corner
Baldi defends against Jarschel coming up to the final corner, and moves back to the middle of the road, straightening up and leaving Jarschel enough room. Jarschel turns into the rear corner of Baldi’s car, sending him into the gravel trap.
    Tim Jarschel - 20 points, 1 strike

    Server 1 Race 2

Kurbanov vs. Ommen, Lap 1 T8
Kurbanov is behind Pinczes coming up to turn 8, moves to the right side and brakes a bit early. Ommen hits him and sends him into the gravel. With a tight field, you have to anticipate early braking points though.
Jan Willem van Ommen - 20 points, 1 strike

Baldi vs. Garcia & Raechl vs. Garcia Lap 2, T1
Garcia completely misses his braking point, brakes 20 metres later than cars on their own, while being on the inside line, and sends both Baldi and Raechl into the gravel trap.
    Nestor Garcia - 40 points - 2 strikes

Keithley vs. Jarschel, Lap 4, T13
Keithley defends against Jarschel who goes on the outside. Jarschel turns into the corner quite early and hits the side of Keithley’s car, while Keithley delays his turn in and it appears like he wants to run Jarschel wide. Keithleys gets spun. It’s still Jarschel’s fault, but a half penalty is given due to Keithley’s delayed turn in
    Tim Jarschel - 10 points

Dencs vs. Honzik, Lap 6, T7-8
Honzik goes alongside Dencs in the right-hander. Dencs turns in, they make side by side contact through the left hander and Honzik is almost launched onto the grass on the right side. He keeps his car out of the grass, starts wiggling and makes contact with Dencs, who gets spun off. This is hard racing gone wrong.
    No action

Cihan vs. Jarschel, Lap 7, T3
Jarschel defends against Dornieden and brakes too late for turn 3. Instead of trying to stay in a straight line or avoid Cihan and go into the gravel, he goes to the inside of Cihan. Cihan tries to give him room, but still gets hit and loses time.
    Tim Jarschel - 20 points - 1 strike

Cihan vs. Dornieden, Last Lap, T8
Cihan is leading, and goes for an early but reasonable braking point on a predictable line. Dornieden hits him, sending him into the gravel.
    Alexander Dornieden - 20 points - 1 strike

Leitner vs. Kwietniewski, Lap 12 T7
Kwietniewski is attacking Leitner. Leitner covers the inside late, but then moves back right. Kwietniewski is still angling right in a left-corner braking zone, but hits Leitner who is moving across more. Therefore, Kwietniewski cannot be blamed.
    No action

    Server 2 Race 1

    Courtois vs. Taruna, Lap1 T1
Courtois gets a tap from Taruna on the exit of T1, goes wide, then gets completely spun off by Taruna. It looks like there is lag involved once again.
    Arwin Taruna - 8 points,1 strike

In the scene afterwards, Taruna also hits Somosi off in a similar incident with lag involved. Due to the high ping, it is unfortunately not possible to race in such a close championship.
Arwin Taruna - excluded from the championship due to connection issues
There is an Asian qualifier coming up, where Taruna can participate. If our server situation changes, Taruna will be messaged and we can do another test, so they can rejoin the league.

Race direction vs. Sabino / Pereira
Sabino and Pereira have such a high ping that they appear to be lagging throughout the live stream and replay.
Lei Sabino - excluded from the championship due to connection issues
Junio Pereira - excluded from the championship due to connection issues
There is an Asian qualifier coming up, where both drivers can participate. If our server situation changes, both will be messaged and we can do another test, so they can rejoin the league.

Kistenmacher vs. Nandori, Lap 3 Final Corner
Nandori brakes too late and sends Kistenmacher into the gravel
    Mark Nandori - 8 points, 1 strike

Li vs. Kenez, Lap 7 Turn 10
Kenez loses control of his car under braking and hits Li and Goarant.
    Sandor Kenez - 8 points, 1 strike

    Server 2 Race 2

Theot vs. Besch (Stulic), Lap 1 T2
Stulic turns into turn 2 with 2 cars on the inside which causes a massive incident. On the first lap, this absolutely careless driving.
    Slaven Stulic - 16 Points, 2 strike

Theot vs. Besch, Lap 6 T2
Stange passes Besch on the outside of turn 2. Theot tries to capitalize, but Besch covers the outside. Theot had no overlap, thererfore Besch’s move is ok.
    No action

Theot vs. Stulic, Lap 6 T3
Stulic is going to the inside while Theot defends on the middle of the track. Stulic taps Theot under braking, loses control and spins into Theot.
    Slaven Stulic - 8 Points, 1 strike
Due to receiving 3 strikes, Stulic has a qualifying ban from the next race he is on the grid for.

    Server 3 Race 2

    R Alves vs. Vega, Lap 10 T3
Will be reviewed later. Still missing the replay.

    Strikes list:
    Slaven Stulic - 3
    Jack Keithley - 2
    Nestor Garcia - 2
    Tim Jarschel - 2
    Zoltan Csuti - 1

    Race Direction announcement 2:

Zandvoort hosts the third round of the Esports WTCR OSCARO 2019, and slowly but surely, the championship gets into a more serious phase. This was already evident in the last race at Slovakia Ring, where several incidents occured throughout the field.

The race direction spent a long time reviewing the incidents, and most notably, Jack Keithley, Nestor Garcia, Tim Jarschel and Alexander Dornieden have received penalties. As a result, Bence Bánki (SDL eSports by Logitech G / Honda) now has a 14 point lead over EURONICS Gaming CUPRA driver Florian Hasse, with his teammate Julian Kunze moving up to third.

In the Dutch dunes at Zandvoort, we might see another driver at the front though: Gergo Baldi. The Hungarian routineer, runner-up in the 2017 Esports WTCC, has struggled with the TCR cars ever since their release, but he managed to top the pre-qualifying session in his M1RA Esports Hyundai, ahead of Bence Bánki and Alexander Dornieden (FA Racing Esports / Lynk & Co), with Emre Cihan (Honda) and Nikodem Wisniewski (Williams Esports / CUPRA) rounding out the top 5.

Niels Langeveld had a tough pre-qualifying on his home track, but will once again be on the grid – this time in the third server. Judging by his past race performances, a race win could be on the cards for the real racing driver.

Once again, the races will be streamed live this Sunday, with Niels Langeveld’s race starting at 15:45 GMT / 17:45 CEST and the top server at 17:30 GMT / 19:30 CEST:
