How is this game Andre? I just read some reviews and they tell me it is a bit empty game. Although the looks are great. Is it a game to have fun with as a single player as I am?

Really nice to see all those high detailed cars. Perhaps I should buy this game just for the nice cars .
Cool, still tempting to buy the game. Especially because we have plans for a holiday to England next year. Planning to travel around England. So the game is a good practise driving on the left side of the road.
If you can pick it up cheap I would say it's worth a play, think of it as a car sandbox game. No matter what kind of cars you are into, there is plenty for every taste. I just find the game has lost a lot of replayability over time as the devs just keep adding a few new cars each month and don't really develop the game beyond the car list. I now only play the game to earn some of the new cars I like, this month I'm only playing to earn the Nissan Pulsar GTi-R and Ford Racing Puma. My review would be as follows: Pros Huge car list with lots of variety Not the most extensive car customisation options, but there are some good options like engine swaps, wheel spacers and modifications affect performance characteristics of the car Basic but good livery editor AI does have some quirks but works better than other racing games (except R3E) Graphics are impressive Cons Map feels small after a few hours playing, limited scope for exploration Map feels very empty, there are no peds beyond a few 2D ones behind barriers, there is little to no traffic, the traffic there is behaves very strangely and often defy the laws of physics and traffic lights are green in all directions Easy to earn a large amount of money very early in the game, no sense of progression or economy Main game developments (aside from car list) have been daft ideas at trying to make the game more mainstream such as battle royale mode and lego expansion (admittedly the fortune island expansion was better) I would say the first Horizon game was the strongest and as they've tried to add more mainstream appeal, the games have been a bit weaker as a result.
My only con is that the map could be bigger... For me Horizon got better and better with every game so 4 is my highlight of the series. Horizon 1 was not even really open world it was just "open road"
I completely agree on map size and think that has been common to every Forza Horizon game so far. It doesn't need to be the size of the Crew, but even something the size of TDU2's Ibiza would mean we could set a destination and spend half an hour driving there. I also liked the way TDU encouraged exploration to find new dealerships, houses etc, because everything is at the Horizon festival in the FH games, I find myself just fast travelling to races. Maybe I look at FH1 through rose tinted glasses but it just seemed to have something I can't put my finger on. I do think FH2, FH3 and FH4 have become stronger with each game, I just wish they'd focus more on making bigger maps that feel more alive and immersive than Hot Wheels, Lego and battle royale expansions.
Tbh i have nothing to complain about. The 2 expansions are included in the ultimate edition and so for free this time and after the 6 month with paid car packs this game got updated every month with more game features and got tons of free cars since then. Its just insane. The BR mode is free too.
