I'm going to upgrade my monitor in a few weeks... 32 inch with a very flexible stand/mounting system. Hopefully I achieve a similar view like you have posted @HomieFFM and @ravey1981

    I'm using a ASUS ROG Strix XG35VQ :
    - 100hz
    - 35" Curved
    - 3440 x 1440p
    - 4ms

    Very happy with this one

I still prefer triple setup. The side screens at an angle make it almost life like. You won’t get this feeling with a single ultra wide screen. Nevertheless it is a nice screen (the Asus)

I'm thinking about an triple screen upgrade with 2 curved 32'' asus monitors left and right and keeping this 35'' in the middle... but it's quite expensive xD

A triple screen setup surely is the holy grail of many simracing enthusiast. But for various reasons not doable for me in my mancave at the moment...
Planning to add a QHD Samsung C32HG70. Very variable stand, good colors for editing photos, 144Hz, quick response and a decent size for being both, my windshield when racing and just my reliable monitor when doing office stuff.
But we're getting offtopic a bit... I found another great way to check if your seat is adjusted correctly: Hop into the Porsche 934 RSR #56 J.M.S. Racing, swing that chase-cam to the drivers door and you'll see :)

Unfortunately 24 inch monitor is a bit too small. 32 inch will be much better

Same, no room for triples. My PC won't run them and if I spend more money on sim stuff and my wife finds out I'm a dead man....

Does the driver actually move position in external view??

It is highly recommended to have all 3 identical monitors due to contrast ratio, colors and setup. Otherwise it could give you very unpleasant experience.

No, "the Stig" is fixed I think... But to see what I meant: it only works in the 934 Number 56...

Yeah you have to have the room for a span of 3 triple screens. Lucky I have a large house so room enough..

I would have plenty of room, too. That cave is 30qm but is not only used for simracing. It's nice to have a room where you don't have to clean up after building Lego or where you just let the Carrera slotcar track be built for weeks. I just can't justify spending a fortune on a completely new racing cockpit because so many other hobbies in the family consume a lot of money, too.

So I am happy with my decision to upgrade to a 32 inch monitor soon. That's one small step for a wallet, one giant leap for immersion :)

As far as my sitting position is concerned, last night I made another step forward, even on my 24" it looks much more real now: modified my office chair to be able to sit a lot lower. Placed the monitor as deep as it gets directly behind the wheelbase and turned the in-game wheel off completely. Saw it in some posts here and it feels great, fooling the brain with that real wheel blending perfectly into that virtual dash! Thanks again guys - great inspiration!

Dont know if it works in R3E as well, but in DR 2.0 and ACC you can switch the camera to an "dash view" where you not have to kill your virtual wheel and hands...

Sadly not possible, you have to use the menu to disable driver and/or wheel.. an extra view or shortkey option would be very nice.

It's pretty time consuming when you want to setup every car view right now :D

If only I'd known that before... I wondered why my buttons for the seating position in DR2 didn't work until I realized I was NOT in the cockpit perspective o_O

That's how it looks now. Not too bad. But can't wait for that 32 inch monitor...

practice with this, you will get used to it.
It feels weird at the beginning, but a few races and it will be normal.
And you will have an even better expirence with the 32 inch monitor :)
