Great! I am guessing if December update is not schedule for release today, it must be on the 11th or 12th? :p

Great work. Looking forward to these releases.

Just a kind reminder that today is the much debated Sinterklaas "Pakjesavond" celebration.
Daddy could use a (virtual) Porsche as a gift from his kids so he also feels (and act) as a kid again :p

Yeah I think next week at the earliest. There is a RaceRoom eSports competition running at the Essen Motor Show until Dec 8th so I doubt they'll release an update until that's done.

fiA/SRO/Whoever classes are all to cock these days, it's about time they all sat down and made it logical again.

Will be pretty interesting how the GT2 RS CS compares to our existing GT classes

Slower around corners than a GT3, by quite a lot. But quicker on the straights.

Of course that's what we know from Porsche's and SRO's press releases that it will have considerably less aero than GT3-cars but more power and will sit in between GT3 and GT4 as a Gentlemans Driver class as GT3 transformed more an more into a PRO category.

But it will still be very interesting how the GT2 will compare lap time-wise and performance wise on the different tracks to the other cars and how it will fit in multi-class races ecpecially on the VLN and 24H-Nürburgring Combined Track layouts where we have al lot mid to fast corner combinations with Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars and GT4's or TCR's in the mix.

Slower on every track. Not tried it on nords to be fair but it would lose time in every single corner, to much to grab back even on the long straights. Nice car to drive though.

Yes it´s nice if a GT3 car is behind you (yesterday on a Norschleife Server) and out the corner you go on full throttle and the GT3 will escape in the mirror. 700hp what a monster and great sound ;).

New content and updates are proving to be quite exciting. I am struggling with the Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport with under steer and think perhaps I am too anxious to put all those ponies to good use so I am exercising patience, but then my times are...well bad, like last and a few seconds slower than the slowest AI. I even changed the difficulty from 105 to adaptive and I swear I saw one of the AI drivers laughing as he passed me. Any driving tips from those having better luck than I?

What I did setup wise to the GT2 - and usually do to most corner exit understeery cars - is to reduce rear toe in a bit from +0.3 to +0.1 for example. A higher rebound value in the front can also help to keep the nose a tad more down while accelerating out of corners. Corner entry I try to keep the brake slightly applied while steering in to make the front bite some more.
By the way, could it be, that the new cars react much more noticable to setup changes than before?

Absolutely right :p you'll also notice tire pressures and camber will be crucial to get right from track to track. Default works, but there can be quite a bit to gain in terms of grip and tire wear!
