Well chaps and chapettes, will give you 99/100 for this update, Beemer's (M4) awesome as is the M1, E30 bloody fantastic. New set-up screens are top notch, my only teeny, tiny gripe is in single player practice, where it takes a few attempts to change car. The one I want is on screen but on loading up I'm getting the previous car rather than the one I asked for, seems to get it after a couple attempts but a tad annoying. Other than that what an update. The cars I've had the opportunity to test out, (see above) my T300 feels superb, some real subtle but definitive changes to the feel. So looking forward to getting some hours in over the next month. Have ha a forced 6 month rest from all forms of driving, what a time to get back behind the wheel!!!!
Cheers guy's and gal's, made my Chrimbo and may all at Sector3 eat, drink and get extra merry this Christmas, you've all bloody deserved it, great year for RR. Roll on 2020 and Brands Hatch! Yo Ho Ho!!

    I was just wondering what
meant in the patch notes. Either way, I'm 95% offline racer, so I appreciate all the AI improvements.

Don't know about anyone else but I've lost a huge amount of fps with this update, don't know if this is caused because of the daylight progression.

Starting the dedi with the "--reset" launch parameter fixes it, but be aware you'll lose all your settings.

Anyone else having issues with the M1 which accelerates instantly and is almost impossible to control. And ffb is off the charts wierd. And the DTM 92 merc (I haven't tried the other cars yet) which has no acceleration. GT3 seems good though good If not a bit loose handling.

I tested the M3 E30, Volvo 240 and M1 Gr 4. They are AMAZING to drive.

Well I'm sure it's a wonderful update, but I and other Sim-Plicity DD owners now have zero FFB ??? oh joy.

Just raise the FFB multiplier in the car setup...

I too, am completely overwhelmed! So much great new stuff to explore. Some things need a bit of training to get used to (the new setup screen for example), others work for me out of the box. I was kind of afraid the new implemented rubber related friction/trailing stuff would mess up my tediously set force feedback - but it's just awesome! Adjusted those multipliers a bit and enjoyed the new feeling.
Only 'complaint' so far: the M1 group 4 feels a bit swampy (is that a word?) compared to its colleague...
Didn't try the old DTM or touring classics, but my favourite so far seems to be the new 918 and the GT2.
I don't want to make anyone jealous but it's a great coincidence that my vacation starts tomorrow...
I'm extremely looking forward to many racing hours in the next few days.
    THANK YOU ALL AT SECTOR3!!!

BTW: those new curb sounds I heard sound great!

-Because it highers the FFB strength and it works.
-The FFB has changed, that's why some hickups could be resulting.

I'd recommend enabling the FFB meter (bind a key for it in controls) and tweaking the FFB strength with the FFB multiplier.

I had only enough time to test DTM 92 Mercedes with a stick but what I felt through my cheap T150... That was incredibly insane! Sweet, new physics worth waiting for that long! Then I hit a wall to test the new damage model and oh my.... that's the part of the puzzle I was missing so much!! The hood went up, the lights collapsed and with a smile on my face, struggling to drive the poor Merc serving as a test object I headed to the pistop. How wonderful moment it was! Can't wait to get back to testing! :D
