Daylight progression is not a good idea for official races. Still causing fps loss for people on low-mid systems.
For sure. We don't want drivers not to give this a go in fear of poor FPS for the main event. If it's still a problem we won't hesitate to go x0 (off).
There are still issues which is why it got turned off in ranked servers. Especially at Bathurst with the walls in close proximity FPS drops and glitches could be deadly. I'm not sure it's worth the risk at the moment.
Promises to be a spectacular event. There's something very special about Bathurst and when the mountain calls its hard to resist. It's one of the ultimate tests in motorsports and even to drive it in our simulators, I find it very special. I could turn laps there all day looking for that perfect sector 2 and daring to brake that little bit later into the Chase each time. There's nothing like it. I hope you can all experience the buzz come race day!

it's the wrong cars, but this promo vid captures the spirit of Bathurst perfectly. you watch this and you just wanna turn laps and test your luck on some of the most famous tarmac on the planet! Enjoy...
I will enter again this year! Bathurst after the big update feels more difficult than last year. And since there is only one broadcasted server, the competition is more intense than last year. I did my best, only pray.
We have decided to disable 'Daylight Progression' for the Bathurst 333 to reduce the potential performance drop on 'lower-end' machines. Post #1 has been edited to reflect this change.
Very true. The R3E Bathurst 1000 is all ready to drop when JF gives us Supercars, day/night & driver swaps!
Is there a reason I can't challenge a car with my livery / if I challenge a car with a livery I don't have I have to buy it?
Thanks but the livery I own is the one I'm NOT allowed to challenge. I can challenge other liveries but only if I buy them.
The commentary team has been put together for the Bathurst 333! Lewis McGlade (CUPRA Simracing series comms) & Miguel Santiago-Carou (RRLeagues comms) will keep us entertained throughout the broadcast as the fastest GTR3 & GTR4 LB qualifiers tackle this infamous mountain road course!
It's weird that you need to own the livery of the ghost you want to challenge. I can understand you can't race with it unless purchaced, could it not be possible to remove the livery or have a ghost livery so it's possible to challenge all cars?
not this time, Giangio. rest assured S3 are doing their best with BoP. 333km of Bathurst is a long way on a treacherous track. No certainty BMW will take the chequered.
