How do stop the seat from slipping around? Please tell me you did not screwed the seat brackets into the floor.;)
Just kidding, looks good. The black materials gives a nice touch. Very clean.

    Bargain! :D Thanks buddy.

    Thank you! :)

Haha, no, it's just under my weight of 75 kg. Thought it'd slide, but it's okay. But the seat cushion is still glued with duct tape so it doesn't scratch the floor. Temporary measure, in a year there will be a separate room for simracing )

Just finished my latest steering wheel project, an AMG GT3 wheel for ACC.
Wheel is based on a 3dRap.it kit with metal plates, 3d printed housing, handles and magnetic shifters. I used the metal plates as a template to cut the front and rear plate out of 3mm carbon fiber to make the wheel lighter.
Electronics are realised with an Arduino Nano and a fake Thrustmaster scetch, so the base "thinks" there is a 458 Ferrari wheel attached. Handles are covered with italian suede (goat). On the backside is the "True-QR" adapter by Peter.
The Mercedes badge on the front is a 60mm wheel cover with a little bit of carbon adhesive foil.
680 grams in total and very nice force feedback overall.

I have the Sim-Lab GT1 Evo too but I upgraded it a bit recently.

My GT1 Evo is from 2018 and misses some holes on the pedal tray to mount the Heusinkveld Sprint that I received a week ago.

So I decided to ditch the black pedal tray and replace it with a DIY dancefloor made of aluminium profiles.

    The problem:

    The solution:

highly adjustable! you can slide things back and forth, up and down, left and right...

It only needed a few ingredients:

Now here is the whole thing:

Next step is to replace the wheeldesk with profiles, move the servo a bit back, extend the servo shaft and move the monitor closer to me.

    yay.

Edit: I now turned the pedal plates 180° to the low setting. Now it's more comfortable as I don't have super large feet.

Ok... I just changed something on my Simlab GT1 Evo again. I couldn't resist.

I was a bit "sick" of the wheeldesk so I changed it to profiles and used a proper mount for my Simucube.
I also extended the servo shaft by 12cm to get a better wheel position and now I was able to get the monitor even closer to me for a bigger FOV.

angle of the servo is still adjustable and it can now slide forwards or backwards to get different positions for different tastes and body types.

    with old wheeldesk:

    with new mounting:
