I apologize for the lack of knowledge.
    sorry.
    I didn't really know.

In the Japanese race (Gr.A JTC), Nissan 5-speed MT was installed by regulation.
(Although it could be used, it was made unnecessary)
    This confused me.

I thought that Bathurst(ATCC) R32GT-R also uses the same Nissan 5MT.
Until today, I did not know that there is 6MT.

I thought that full-fledged racing 6MT was adopted from R33GTR.

    Remorse the lack of study

Is it possible to divide the GT-R into 5 MT (JTC) and 6 MT (ATCC) GT-R?
    Greedy?

Dont have a clue why anybody would want these back the way they were, WTF!

As they are now, great fun to drive, huge improvement all around, AWESOME!

Imo they were way easier to drive. More planted at higher speeds, which wasn't accurate/realistic.

They're are way more slidey at the edge now, especially when driving hard turns :D Now you have to drive them with the pedals. Before it was more on rails (was pretty fun, though). I like the new way, it works.

Any tips on the revised M1 Pro car?

Down shifting on entry to a slower corner almost always ends in me pointing arse-first down the track. I'm experiencing this as a general occurrence with this car on all tracks, but a specific example would be the first right-hander at Nurburgring - I come off the brakes, smoothly (I think) shift into second, and the back end just kicks out every time. It's not an issue I have in any other H-pattern car. What am I doing wrong?

*None of this is meant as a negative. I love the new physics stuff, and I suspect the M1 will be quite satisfying when mastered.

    Do you heel-and-toe?

I think you asked a good question. Without a right heel-and-toe, most H-pattern cars are hard to drive.

No.. I've yet to learn that particular skill. I've not found I've needed it on the other cars so far.

Just try it out - it not only stabilises your car, it's a lot of fun doing so on top! I think the Porsche 934 is another H-pattern candidate in which you hardly can go into first gear without heel'n'toeing.
I'm no expert, but when I started practising it, it helped me a lot to raise throttle sensitivity to achieve more revs by just slightly hitting the pedal.

You're absolutely right. I can tell you that I used 1st gear at the Druids corner during the FR Junior @ Brands Hatch Indy competition and it wouldn't have been possible without heel-and-toe (and I often crashed even with it :D).

I am not an expert. But the old cars must always be driven with Heel & Toe. It has something to do with the differential. If you don't use Heel & Toe technology, the rear wheels will lock and the rear will overtake you. Everything is just a question of practice and personal will. And it's definitely fun.

And yes, the Porsche Group 4 is a masterpiece that has to be mastered! In my opinion the best car currently at RRE. Hopefully the De Tomaso will follow !

Thanks chaps - I'll give the ol' heel and toe a bash.

I understand the rough principle, but are there any tips to bare in mind here?

First, your brake and throttle pedals must be close enough to allow heel-and-toe. Then, you'll have to learn each car behaviour because some cars will need a slight input on the throttle whereas others (the 934 for example) will require more, especially if you want to use the first gear in some turns.

I remember when I discovered heel-and-toe back in GT Legends and I had to practice several weeks before approaching my previous best laptimes, but I was able to better them quickly after and it's very useful now in R3E.

I might add that if you are not using a load cell brake pedal, it's even trickier to blip the throttle 'cause your brake pedal is deeply pressed down and not on level with the accelerator. I therefore added some spacers under the brake pedal to compensate for that a bit. So if you're on travel based pedals you might try that little tweak, too.

Most of them are absolutely drivable without heel-and-toe also - but you have to be very gentle, which costs speed.

I'm on the Fanatec V3s. - I know they're load-cell based, but is the rest of the configuration good-to-go out of the box for H&T?
