The aspect I'm most excited about is that we (hopefully) entering the era when games will finally utilize more than 3-4 threads and our 8+ core CPU's will actually be useful for gaming as well.
You've got a point here. Lets hope it will turn out that way. And I hope a bit soon, at least before my 8700i is old and not usable anymore. How much is 12 teraflops in comparison to my 1080TI. {I do have a pair of flipflops. }
Still a bit open how much shared RAM it will get. Also most excited it finally has a decent CPU. That should really help drive min specs up a bit for new games.
