Chicane on back straight Gt1 26 cars Ai 120 Spin entering the back straight chicane as they start to turn left. T2 sharp left hander they hit the inside wall when bunched up like at the start Ai overall too slow (I’m usually running between 108-115)
yes thru t8 and t9 And the inside wall incidents are t1 (I thought that was t2 lol) good idea with the map
79 Cars P1, P2, GTE(RSR), GT3 Turn 1 95-98% When the cars begin the heavy braking zone, they seem to completely lose control and just spin out randomly.
Its nearly all the classes that spin out, the video is an example of what happens for those classes, however if you need me to get a video of the P1 and P2 cars spinning out Id be happy to provide.
I ran Multi class with Group C, Group 5 and Touring classics. 30 cars and let it auto select how many for each class. AI -106 Noticed most issues into turn one and entering the bus stop t8/t9
I ran a 60 minute 4 class mc race w/ P2, GTE, GT3 and GT4. grid size - 24AI & me class(es) - Porsche GTE Ai% - 105% brief description - As mentioned above the AI are slow through the Bus Stop (Turns 10 & 11), they seem to enter the area just fine (Turns 8 & 9) but it's when they slow slightly to start turning Right their speed drops too much, I think this is to do with them staying on the Tarmac at Turn 11 and not utilising the Yellow Curb/Dirt area enough, they're focusing on avoiding this area which in turn means their exit speed is also compromised on the run to the S/F Line. No other major issues in multiple races (included LMP1 in one Race but they were fine), varying from 10 to 20 minutes in length.
grid size - Various Number but always less than 24AI class(es) - Porsche 911 GT3 Cup & DTM 2016 Ai% - 100% to 110% brief description - Quite a few more races with various Cars and most notably the two classes above both have issues at the Bus Stop: Firstly the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is similar to the Porsche GTE above, they're ok entering the Bus Stop but going through and coming out they're too slow, again compromising their exit speed in avoidance of the Yellow Curb and thus slow on the run to the Start/Finish Line. DTM2016 have difficulties entering the Bus Stop and often spin (at the Turn 9 point).
grid size - 24AI class(es) - GT3 (all cars) Ai% - 105% to 111% brief description - Same Bus Stop issues as above with the Porsche GT3 Cup. I've come to the conclusion that this is the only area on the track that needs attention for most cars, the rest of the track they're just fine and no better/worse than me.
Don't know if it is fixed already but last time I checked Gr 5 at Daytona the transmisson of my beloved Capri was way too short. Additionally the modern DTM cars are undriveable here due to ride height issues : they constantly scratch the surface through the banked turns....a special daytona basic setup might be required
I have noticed several times now that I get a drive through penalty for speeding in the pits and I have slowed before the 60km limit sign. This seems to be a bug as I have been well below the speed before the sign and still get a drive through.
Ah.. I came here to post I'm having AI issues at Daytona, apparently I'm not the only one GT3, 70-ish cars, massive pileup in T1 directly after the start. Each lap there were some AI's crashing in T1. In all other turns the AI behaved correctly, even in the busstop. Then I did an AI race, Hockenheim DTM1992 which was probably one of the most fun races I ever had, both on- and offline
