As this is my first contact with ovals im wondering about the track limit rules applied there. Are you allowed to use the area below the yellow line?
the oval is marked unsupported so basically there are none no great ai no rule presets no saftey cars no aero packages no setups Andi

Yes, yellow line is not the track limit but the white line inside, so the flat inside area is the ideal line for LB as it is shorter

The flat "behind" the yellow line is your emergency strip if your car fails by technical difficulties or by accident. Its also in some areas the pit exit. The green green gras behind the flat area should be off track for sure.
Problem is not really the track limits but more the fact that you can't remove enough downforce that would make using the banking faster.
