guys i need help. I was adjusting the size and placement of the Track Map on screen, and it went too far off to the left and is now completely gone. I tried everything i can think of over the last 2 days to get it back on my screen: turn track map off and back on again, switch to static hud map, both off then on, validate files via steam, fresh install of R3E. Nothing is working and i don't have a 3 screen setup available to drag it back on my 1 screen.
Cant look into the settings right now to check but i think theres a setting "reset hud elements". If you map a key to that you can start a session and on track press said key. Should bring everything (thats activated in the hud settings) back but i guess youd have to reposition and rescale everything
That's like throwing away your PC when it caught a virus If you want to delete something, then it's this file: hud_options.xml This way only your UI settings are restored to default instead of everything. (Upd: Nothing to disagree with, that's just fact. This folder contains tons of other settings too, and sacrificing them all for something that can be fixed with one button has no sense.)
