In this video you can see our web based admin interface for configuring and handling your personal Dedicated Servers. It´s still work in progress and we will gladly hear your ideas and suggestions about possible improvements. If you´re a league admin or plan to organize events, let us know what features you´d like to see!
Few ideas: - It would be nice to create a group or a league to add drivers either by invitation or by a pilot request. - Having the ability to start a hotlap (league leaderbord with the possibility to store and reset datas) few days before the evening race and inform pilots when the server is started. - It will be nice too to provide download links to server's replays on the result page. - And why not a custom mp championship with calendar. But initially, if you give us what you saw it would be already very well.
Will we be allowed to make Practice only server ? I don't see in the vidéo if Q and R can be set to 0 or disable.
Because it's a way to practice with other player On the little ligue I am (AC) we do a race each week on a define car/track combo. Between each race we have a practice server that allow us to practice together, setup the car etc And sometime we also like just running on a track like on real track days. No race, no challenge, just driving, testing things etc
In our league (rF2, rF1 & GSC) we make always formation (reconnaince) lap, in standing or rolling start... And we use a homemade app to realign grid in warmup for punish cutting in qualy.
Yes, in our league too it's the possibility to start a hotlap few days before the evening race to set the car, practice together.... I suggest it too in my last post.
Yep... that was the idea... plus, the AI is really one of the best (if not the best) around... I can't see where would be the disadvantage of racing with humans and bots since the AI will be most probably upgraded and tweaked to make it even better...
It's not ideal, but I think I'd prefer driving in a full grid mixed with bots and people than a 6 driver grid of only people who get spread out after a couple laps and it then becomes a glorified hot lapping session.
Everything is better with wine. Well, technically everything is better with Scotch, but if you don't have Scotch then wine will do.
You are right Brandon but I prefer beer. And for all Windows-User without Linux-knowledge, this is wine: https://www.winehq.org/
I don't know but multiple server on the same machine is possible with SteamCmd ? Édit : Ok, I see an example for TF2.
