Hey this is 2hrs 10 min! When do you hear it? If you hover with your mouse over the video you can see a time bar, and then please tell us at which time.

    It's not a problem, it's a sound feature.
    No reason to leave?! ;)

You guys made my day. Best storyline ever. And so many sequels I found while scrolling down the thread list. I've binge watched this now.
The brake squeal/whine sound is explained good here:

It also decreases when the brakes are heated up ^^

    Greetings

When at the main menu, click on the gear icon in the upper right of your screen.
I would post a screen shot but I'm using the new UI and it looks a lot different than the non-beta UI, however; the settings are mostly titled the same. The screens look a bit different.

What you are looking for is similar to this...
Sound options, Advanced, Brake Squeal volume.
Lower the Brake Squeal volume slider to zero.

Again, the wording may be a little different. Instead of "Sound" you may be looking for "Audio". It's been a long time since I had to mess around with the sound/audio settings, and I had to look to see where the Brake Squeal settings were.

Something about the brake squeal, it is really helpful to gauge if your brakes are up to temperature without having to take your eyes off of the action in front of you. In my experience, the squeal was annoying at first, but I learned that if I hear it, I may need to brake longer or harder until the brakes are at optimal temps. Once the brakes are up to temp (in the green on OtterHUD), then the squealing goes away. But to each, their own.

    I hope this helps.
