How is the progress towards implementing saving window size? :)

For me running a 32:9 monitor, the app is always insanely wide when starting it, so I have to resize it every time. Not a big deal, but would be a nice feature.

    Otherwise: Brilliant software!

I'm as in the dark as you are. The best thing would if Sector3 could also provide the RAW values in setup screens.

Ow, I thought windows size is preserved as well. Obviously not :(... It will be in next update ;)

There are no "tire wear" in the telemetry viewer?

Currently not, I might add the if there is requirement for them. But for me the reports works better for examining tyre wear, as you get tyre wear plotted for whole stint, rather than a single lap, where the change isn't that large. You can also more easily see how wear is affectitng lap times

Thank you so much. I missed seeing it in the report. My fault.

I'm sorry if I overlooked something obvious: in the telemetry viewer, under the 'braking' tab, how come the 4 wheel slip charts have 0 data point? I got everything else after racing 6 laps, just that these 4 wheel slip braking charts had nothing. The wheel slip acceleration is fine.
    Thanks!

The only think I can think of is that you still have some throttle input. Only points where throttle is less than 2% are considered in that chart.

Thank you so much! You are absolutely right! I went back to look at the telemetry viewer and I was holding throttle at ~5% even when I braked! I ran it again and made sure I released the throttle completely and now I see the slip charts for braking!
    Thanks again!!!

    New version released.
I've expanded the information available whne you double-click on a driver in a timing grid. Added information is: tyre used in that lap, position lap started at, delta to personal and session best and pit stop information.

In R3E MP you should also see rating details of that driver :)

Is it possible to have the rep as a column on the main screen alongside the rating for quick reference when driving?

Currently not, I will put it on the todo list. It might take some time though, because I'm planning to do a little rework, which will allow the user to reorganize the columns, so I would try to avoid adding more columns before that's done ;)

    Hi Winzarten,

I don't get any more reports in ACC !? The data and the connection are there, but no reports are saved.
What could that be? Thank you.

Could you please upload the log file, so I can check what's failing? Thank you :)

On another topic, little preview of what's in the next version:
Two new options in Telemetry Section
    SecondMonitor_2021-02-25_18-51-59.png
So you will be able to capture (some) telemetry from competing drivers
    TelemetryViewer_2021-02-25_18-50-56.png

Only lap time, speed and location is available, but even that can be helpfull to figure out where are you loosing time, how slower/faster you go, and were are their braking points. :)

    Hi Winzarten,

Do you know if it's possible to convert the exported files to load into MoTec? Or is there some licensing issue there?

Hi Winzarten, I have a totally selfish request for a feature please... :D

Would it be possible to add an option to turn off the highlighting around my driver name in the timing screen? Ideally, I'd like my name to be the same format as the rest of the drivers (i.e. no bold text, border etc).

    Capture.PNG

If you could add this in, I'd be eternally grateful! :)

Thank you for the continued efforts, SM is an awesome addition to racing sims...

Thanks, yes, this is it. I found there one unexpected exception, which should be fixed in the next version, hopefully it will address the issue.

I will add it to the list of items that should be configurable (along with column order, and column font size) once I'm done with the area refactor ;)

It shouldn't be really a legal thing. From what understand reverse-engineering a file format for interoperability isn't really a copyright infringement (atleas in EU). But because it is a proprietary format, its description is hard to find. Also I don't own the SW, so testing would be a pain.
The best I can do is provide the telemetry data in something easily readable, like .xml, or even .csv which could allow someone more knowledgeable to write a basic parser.

    Check here.

Basically it shows how much brake/throttle input the tyres are able to handle at different speeds.
For it to really make sense the wheel diameter need to be set correctly.
