Check if the broadcast server settings didn't get reset as a aftereffect of the crash

i am so mad at myself, i read that days ago and i checked the broadcasting config, i changed the password to asd but i forgot to change the port from 0 to 9000, okay now it works again, thank you xD

I've pushed new version, in which ACC spectating should finally work. One thing that will not work is the track map. That is because shared memory is not available while spectating (only the UDP broadcast data are available), and the cars world coordinates are in shared memory.
While UDP should also contain coordinates, these are broken and cannot be used. Below is a "map" of Circuit de catalunya created from this data



So, when spectating the app will revert to timing circle.

 

under raceroom
today i did a 10 lap race on nordschleife with porsche 964 and 24 AI and adaptive AI.
suddenly, around the 8th or 9th lap, secondmonitor reset all the times to N/A as if the session had started again at 0

 

Thanks for the report, looks like there was an issue with tracking session time (in one moment the session time change 10s between updated, which the application interprets at new session). I will try to get it fixed

 

Is there a way to list all statistics offline the lap time of each car and track of raceroom that are stored locally? (Without running raceroom) thanks.

 

Not easily from the app currently.
But if you go into \Documents\SecondMonitor\Records\TrackRecords.xml, there are all the record organized in xml, which is (kinda) human readable.
Searching for <SimulatorRecords SimulatorName="R3E"> will give you the records for raceroom.

Ok, this issue should now be fixed. There was a memory leak introduced when I started tracking telemetry for competing drivers (too much information kept in memory, and not cleared properly). Which caused the application to consume insame amount of memory, especially on long tracks... which then caused the application to stutter randomly on memory allocation and garbage collection... which then resulted in app interpreting the big shift in session time (+10s) as a change in session

On another topic, work is almost done on the ability to change order of columns in timing grid.

So, soon it will be possible to control which columns at which position should be present in the grid (you can have the same column multiple times if you so wish). This will also allow me to introduce new columns, i.e. a colored ribbon that would show if the delta for the current lap, for that driver looks to be personal or session best.

New version is out. It is now possible to change the column order, and also specify font properties (size, bold/italic) for each column, for each session.
So you can have i.e. Best Lap with bigger font in Practice/Qualification.

New user here - I can't retrieve race reports after the app has been closed.

During and immediately after a race I can view the race information with no problem; but once I've closed the app the info is 'lost'. There is nothing visible in the 'Reports' folder, and the 'Open Last Report' button does nothing. I haven't changed the options in any way, and the app was installed to the default location.

 

The reports are not enabled by default, you need to enable them

Hmm, ok this is weird... The application obviously has access to the directory (because it created it). It has no problem creating telmetry, or other files, in similar location
Yet for .xlsx file it got System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path is denied.

My wild guess would be some overzealous AV is preventing the app from creatin an excel sheet file...

 

Yep - that was it. I turned off the AV and voila!

Hi, my secondmonitor stopped logging my raceroom data, everytime a session has finished there is no file in the Recent folder. Options to log files and everything was enabled in the settings and nothing was touched, started happen yesterday only.
