Is there going to be new recommended profile for simucube 2's software True Drive? Or does the old work perfectly with the new ffb?

So, the guide recommend to use damping in the driver option. Until now the setting for my T300 was:

    100% force
    100% constant gain
    100% periodic gain
    0% spring
    0% damping

What is recomment? Where to start with damping?

I think, it's an on/off thing as I read its for stationary friction. So I guess 100 % is the way to go.

You can keep everything at 100%, spring is not used, damping is only used in the stationary friction, so won't affect the FFB during normal driving at all.

I'm not 100% sure what settings Alex recommended for the old FFB, but you should be able to follow the general recommendations for wheel driver settings in the FFB posts.

First update you see in raceroom? You have to wait until services are back. And then there is the update. And THEN you can drive again.

Just click default in the TM software that will give you everything you need. Everything at 100 and overall wheel force defaults to 75 (you can raise that if you don't have overheating issues which some t300 wheels suffer)

I like the feeling of weight the new ffb has brought, but why is there now no feeling for scrubbing, sliding, kerbs, off track? Are we now feeling a new weight dynamic at the cost of all else?

I'm using a DD1 which is giving me a nice feel for the car, but it's like all the dynamic forces are missing. It feels just like iRacing, and this is a big part of why I don't play iRacing, the wheel feels dead.

If I smack a sausage kerb at 100mph it should feel like I've just smacked a kerb, not run over a kitkat. Running though a gravel trap with the bar bouncing up and down feel like running over a row of kitkats.

Can we please have a slider back for kerb and trackside? Please???

So until now i tried 3 different car + track combinations:
    DTM 1992 + Laguna Seca
    Tatuus F4 + Sachsenring
    FR2 + Portimao

The first two felt alright, i think. I can´t drive them intuitively, but I think eventually it will grow onto me. The car is communicating very well and with the new "Bump Amplification"-Setting i can finally feel the road without having to put my min force up to 12% or more. Noice.
But i had big problems with the FR2 car. On the straights the FFB pulled my wheel weirdly and without any indication to why that is happening to one side or another, but the car wasn´t moving accordingly. It almost felt like there was a dead zone of some kind in the FFB and in the wheel itself. Completely undriveable for me. Any guess about whats causing that?
My wheel is the Thrustmaster TMX.

I guess they could make a slider in the menu but it would do nought. The old effects aren't part of the new FFB, they cannot be enabled.

The best advice we can give you right now is
    • use the default/recommended values for your wheel
    • adjust the FFB per car using the multiplier keybinds and
    • give it time to sink in.
In cases of doubt, even tho it shouldn't be needed, delete or back up your old controller profile and start with a fresh default one.

Make sure the setting for gamepad rumble is disabled in your controller settings.
