Well, is Crewchief working for you? Did you set up the launch parameter in Steam?

Do you see a box in the top left corner while you are driving? Can you make a screenshot of your Steam launch parameters?

Hi! First of all thank you for all the work, this hud is really great! Just an info, I would use a button on my wheel to show/hide the hud, is there a way I could bind it?

The configuration seems to be correct. Are you always running CrewChief? If yes, you could try not running it and only running dash.exe instead.

Are you running any other software in the background? Maybe something is blocking the port being used by dash.exe / CrewChief.

    You setup crewchief wrong
    It is not "Enable Websocket"
    Its called "Enable Web-Hud integration"
Disavle websocket option and enable the correct one, that should do it

You could use a software called Joy2Key to do so

If you see that message your parameter is correct.

@OtterNas3, I created a web app which shows you the current ranked races, and I have a feature idea which I need your help to implement, can you look for a DM sent by me in discord?

Quick question - I'm rebuilding my system and I have a backup of the old C: drive. Does anyone know the default path where OtterHud settings are saved?

It should be saved within the whole RaceRoom folder in your Documents.

Thanks Majuh... yeah I assumed that but when I copied that folder over the settings either weren't there or accessed by the HUD.

It's no big deal - took me 5 minutes to get it back to how I like it.

#Update: I can confirm windows reinstall solves the problem, OtterHUD now works flawlessly with CrewChief. The only difference I noticed, that I received an approval window from Windows Firewall, during running dash.exe/CrewChief. So the issue might be with some setting of Windows Firewall (however, I tried to run dash.exe last time with turned off firewall/adblock/virus blocker).

    Hi D. Westbury,
Thanks for quick response. Reinstalling windows... uhhh... I thought there might be a more elegant solution. :D
I tried already to reinstall R3E (also to different drive), but no luck. R3E WebHUD dash.exe also shows the same errors, not just the OtterHUD version.
On the other hand, relevant error from CrewChief is the following:

Thanks again, I hope this issue can be solved in the future.
